The slooooooowest "smart" appliance ever

I talked with the sales guys at Best Buy and thought this would be, if anything, a step up. So wrong. Takes forever to load (several minutes to get the Wi-Fi internet apps launched), and times out during app operation. Forgets your user name and password between uses so you have to start over from scratch each time you power it on, and with no keyboard on the remote, entering your info over and over using only the arrows and on-screen keyboard is a real pain. (PS --this is NOT a problem with my internet/Wi-Fi speeds; 50Mbps over cable). In the end, even though I wasn't happy that my old machine had died after just a couple years of use, I broke down and replaced this with another Vizio: ahhhh, so much better. Easier interface, immediate response time, alphanumeric remote, shortcut keys, no time outs, and resident user memory. No contest.

This player has so many great apps that I went back and bought one for myself. The only thing I will caution you about is that it has to be connected by an HDMI cord which you have to buy separately.

In my limited experience, it is a bit slow, but the UI is nice. Specifically, a great feature would be to have multiple WiFi logins stored, so if one goes down, there is another. Very compact player, and set up was a snap!
