Although currently I cannot use some features such as 3D I have found the product to currently meet my needs until I update my televisions. If your televisions are older with limited connections, you will need an audio converter to convert the digital audio to analog audio. Other than the stumble in figuring out the necessary conversion for sound, connecting the product was simple and fast.

I like Sony's interface and the many wireless streaming video options, including a web browser. It has 802.11N wireless networking, which is good. Although I can stream YouTube videos from the YouTube app, I cannot stream Google Chromecast featured apps from my Android tablet or iPhone. So I still need a separate Chromecast device for that. This player does well in playing DVD, Bluray, 3-D Bluray, and USB flash drive based videos. However, being so compact, it does not have an external LED indicator in the front to show you the time on the video that you are watching. That would have been nice to have versus similar devices. For that reason alone, I give it 4 stars. The remote control can control my TV's input and volume. It even turns the TV on when the player is turned on. However, it does not automatically turn to the HDMI-1 port on the TV. I still have to select that manually. Overall, I recommend this 3D Bluray player. HDMI cable not included.
