The quality of Sony never falls short I also have a Sony Bravia tv and they work well together also only need one of the remotes to work both devices either will work the other

Plays DVD and BlueRay fine, wireless is anyone's guess. One day it is fine, next won't connect. Rest of house still working on wireless so not my router. Don't depend on this unit for streaming movies

This was purchased to work with my Sony TV which was new. Old Samsung would not work with the new Sony. Software was not up to date in the old DVD player so I had to upgrade to this model.

I recently bought this product, and I love it! It has all of the funcrtionality I needed, and it is easy to use. Plus it is small, so it fits anywhere. I highly recommend it.

Needed to upgrade to a 3D DVD player for our new TV so the kids could keep the playstation4 hooked up to a different tv. Great value, and as always we love our new Sony product

bought this to use with internet connections to older flat screen as we were having problems with amazon FireStick. This solved the problem and we no longer use firestick.

I like you can edit the picture brightness during watching something. Problem is that 4K upscaling is misleading. It cannot play a 4K disc. I also love the seamless interface! Great product!

To my pleasent surprise the dimensions listed were wrong. It was much smaller letting it to sit on my cable DVR. I am not really noticing the upscaling, but thatcould be just me. It works well.

The only thing I wish it had was a better indication when it is "ON"; there is a small green light that is visible at night, but that's it. Otherwise it is a great unit.

I recently purchased blu-ray player from the great views that I saw on the website. It is an excellent bluray player with all the bells and whistles. Highly recommended!

This is the 2nd BDPS6500 DVR we've purchased! We know there are better ones with better features, but we are happy with this model for now. Some times simple is better.

Got a new TV so we added a Blu-ray player to replace our old player. Just wanted a basic player which want this is. The picture quality is great.

Originally went for just a inexpensive blurry but got upgraded to this one for fr=e. I works great.we have a couple 3d burays but don't have the glasses yet maybe soon

I usually lean towards Sony because I have never been disappointed. This seems like a good product. I have not played with any of the key features yet but it plays DVDs right out of the box.

Does what it says. Works perfectly with my tv to upscale video and 3d. I didn't care about the smart functions because the tv is smart, but it does help for firmware updates.

My old 3D Blu Ray player stopped working and because I have Geek Squad coverage took it right in and they replaced it right away no hassles what so ever. Plus the new player works great!!!

I'm not sure if the problem was the 4K disc or the player but the 4K disc I tried wouldn't play in the player. Other movies play fine. My tv is also 4K so the picture is still great.

I exchanged a 2d Sony blu ray for this 3d model. It performed about the same and has the sane lip syncing issues on Netflix. But If I play a blu ray first it eliminates the problem.

this player does everything it was designed to do just fine. i give it 4 stars because it is not true 4k, by that i mean it will not play a 4k flick, just blu ray with a bit of upscale.

I got this for the apps and the off chance I'll watch a dvd. Tons of apps and an Internet browser. Very hard to navigate a web page by tabbing, but you have the ability to make "favorites".
