I wasn't really looking for Blue Ray or App features but at the price I figured I might as well step up. I might be regretting that choice. I suspect the stuttering we have experienced is related to the conversion of DVD quality to HD quality. Not sure yet. and I haven't explored turning it off yet to confirm. Other than that (Mrs. Lincoln) it's not a bad DVD player.
