I decided to give Sony another chance with the 6500. Had it less than 10 days before it too began the freeze up and needing constant power off-on resets. I will not buy another Sony.

After couple SW updates, start having issue with YouTube which freezes once in a while and requires power cycle. First time it happened I though my internet connection was down but nope I was still able to use YouTube on my iPad. So something wrong with the BDPS6500 .
