    After 4 hours of streaming it tells you the application is too large to open please try again later. You have to either RESET the system or unplug it for it to clear the CACHE. I have sent these 2 units back to SONY so many times I have exhausted the warranty and need to BUY a new device. Total waste of time and money. Never going to buy a SONY product again.

    Need to remove these from shelf

    We tried two different units and both had the same issue. Pop sounds and white screen during playback. We tried multiple DVD' s, cables, and TV but problem persisted. Problem gets worse the longer the movie plays but once you rewind or go back a chapter the problem resets itself. After both units were doing this we returned for a Samsung unit

    sony has the capablities offered on previous model

    This is a replacement for an older model of Sony BlueRay. So far I am NOT impressed with this new unit. There are no function buttons on the face plate, except on/off (which is the very slow to react) and the drawer open/close. On the rear of this unit they have taken away your output capabilities. I would not recommend anyone to buy this unit!!

    So ALL Sony brand dvd players are bad. The main issue is that they constantly freeze when using Netflix, Amazon Prime, and especially Hulu. I have legitimately purchased EVERY single Sony dvd player and none have worked that well. Best bet, get any other brand and you will be pleased.

    not what i thought

    so i assumed this player could play 4k dvds thats why i purchased it, but i guess not...... every time a tried to put a 4k disc in it would say "cannot read disc" but it reads regular blu rays! can someone please tell me if its suppose to read 4k discs?

    DISAPOINTED! Apps NOT working

    Apps NOT working properly: Youtube and Netflix kick you out back to the home screen. Playing a bluray gives, to much often, the "buffering wheel" in the middle of the action. I search for help but Sony support is poor than poorest.

    The item had been returned and restocked. I got home and noticed that the safety seal had been opened. The player had been installed and used for a while as it was covered in cat hair.

    These must be paid reviewers. This device is terrible. I will NOT play a brand new disk. It hangs, skips and locks up. Would not buy again. Would not recommend. Awful product.
