Bought it for under $100 hooked a HDMI cable on it and it pretty much set itself up just with a little bit of push button from me--- works good-- very user-friendly - would recommend this --

Very impressed with the performance of this unit. especially coming off an older 1st generation Samsung player apps move with ease, setup was a breeze and blu-ray started up fast and smooth

This is not a 4K Blu Ray Player, but an Upscaling 4K Blu Ray player. I tested to see if it could possibly play 4K discs and it cannot. It does do a decent job of upscaling Blu Ray discs on a 4K TV.

I had to have my wife figure out how to set it up because I am man and man don't read directions. But I got it out of the box and plugged it in just fine for her. Plays our movies and she is happy so I am happy.

This blu-ray player is an excellent companion to my Sony 55 inch 4K ultra high definiton 3D television. The design is sleek and light-weight; set-up was a cinch. The video is as advertised. Awesome!

This works nicely with my Sony UHD 4K TV and has some nice web-based and streaming features that I need. Since the TV is not near my network plugs the WiFi feature is very important to me.

Bought this due to ratings and promotional offer, but once installed and set up I immediately encountered and issue with ejecting the disc. It simply would NOT eject the disc. After some google searching, I found I was not alone. There were a lot of posts on how to correct the eject malfunction, and after several attempts, seems to be working just fine now. I'm covered for the next few years by purchasing the Best Buy extended warranty, so if any other issues arise I'll be sure to do a warranty claim. I would still recommend this item, just pay attention to the eject functionality.

Got this at a great price! This Sony Blu-ray player was a step up from my earlier models. I have it paired with a xbr930 and the movies and images I watch look amazing. Definitely well worth it.

I haven't used it yet but I am sure it will work out fine.

Love this device. Very easy to set up on to my wifi. My wifi is slow, so it sometimes affects the performance of the streaming portion of the device, but that is on my end, not the device.

The player was easy and fast as setting up .plays great ,great picture quality .it was a bargain lets you know if there is a update and walks you thru it .you can't go wrong with this product .

Loved the player, but when I tried to go online for Netflix, I couldn't get connected. (It worked ONCE--but have had no luck since. I failed to go to Best Buy for help, so really have only myself to blame.)

This was our first blue ray player. It was easy to hook up and works great. Only issue I has is all our equipment is in a cabinet and the remote for this will not work through the door like the other remotes.

have not used the dvd player yet. but the rest are great

Recently purchased 3D Dvd Player and found the set up and operation both convenient and easy to use. Great 3D quality and easy to use remote control. I would reccomend buying this product .

Unless you are planning on going all out, then why pay more? This is an outstanding blue ray player. I have kept with sony blue ray players for years now and they've always been fabulous.

I wanted at least 4K upscaling. I was replacing a Samsung blu ray, which would not play newer blu rays. No new firm ware for my old Samsung. So I am not buying Samsung. Sony was the other choice. Works just fine.

Connected to my wired network, selected a 3D movie from Sony and watched on my Sony TV. Just popped in a Blu-ray disc and everything operated as expected. Netflix connection worked perfect.
