Half the size of my last player. No read out on front of player, but I have never needed it. Has a transformer plug, runs on 12 volts. Highly satisfied with this for the money, Got for $100.00.

There is not a lot to say about this unit. We installed it and set it up at the same time as a new 4K TV. Setup went well and we have been pleased with the up converting results.

This bluray player is awesome because it can upscale to 4K resolution without paying the extravagant cost of a 4K bluray player. So if you have a 4K TV, I highly recommend this!

My tech at Best Buy, after helping with our 4K TV and sound bar explained we had one more step to take. He recommended this Sony, and it's been amazing how well it upscales our DVDs.

My last Sony Blu-ray stopped functioning properly, but I was a fan of the brand. This one seems to be working much better and with a cleaner resolution. Both were 4k up scaling.

This bluray player is awesome. Simple and easy to use. The upscaling feature is great. The connectivity is easy. It's a small compact design and fits in my cabinet perfectly.

It's a nice machine but if you lose the remote you can't do anything except insert the disc and turn it on or off. The player really needs to have play and stop buttons on the machine itself.

This has it all! This is an excellent product and I got it at an even better sale price. I even purchased another for the bedroom.

My second Sony Blu-ray player. Really like the upgrades in user interface and picture quality. 3d plays great. Good conversion of 2d to 3d as well. I'd recommend this player.

Needed DVR.Looking 4 something good and I found it

This is the wire that is needed for the electronically challenged. One part of the wire is labeled "+" so you will not be crossing your wires during installation. Easy to use.

This was an open box purchase on a sale item so the total price was almost half the retail. This was the already the best Blue Ray player for the money after I reviewed many online.

Needed an upgrade for the Blu-Ray player in my bedroom. The picture quality on this is great. The menu is so much faster than my previous model (and the newer layout is better)

I bought this after reading many good reviews about it and had been a Sony fan for many years. After a short time the player would freeze and the screen would go black. I couldn't eject the disc or even shut the player down. After this happening several times I took it back and exchanged for the same model. It did the same thing and I had had enough. I took it back and exchanged it for the Sony 7200 and things have been fine. It costs a bit more but quality is worth it.

Easy set up and preloaded with the more popular aps that many will use. I purchased now three of these for different TVs and at other homes so I am convinced it is a good purchase

really easy to operate..click on the detail button on its remote and it tells you how far into the movie you are and what's left. Nothing fancy but it serves its purpose..

Good for the money buy be aware the 4k upscaling is deceiving it does not play 4k movie it just make the picture a little better if you want a good name brand blu ray player for a good price

Purchased solely based on reviews (and returned the one that I bought earlier from Costco). Played couple of DVDs and a blue ray. Satisfied with the quality and ease of use.

needed an upgrade for my system and this one met everything I need and more if I start going to the 4k movies. I am not sure on the streaming because I only use it for movies
