There is a noticeable increase in the amount of time it takes for this player to start up compared to my previous unit. I don't use the 3D on the unit . I'm pretty sure that being a 3D player factors into the delayed start up time. Overall satisfied with the unit so far.

However, I was told by the Best Buy home entertainment associate that it was Ultra HD. This is incorrect: it can upscale a DVD, but it is not capable of playing a Ultra HD disk. I would not recommend simply because it is not the "latest" technology--which is what I had intended to purchase. Based on its price, I should have known... Avoid impulse purchases...
