I just bought this last week, so far so good. Using it with a Samsung KS 8000 4K TV and plug and play worked right out of the box. There are quite a few apps Installed, unfortunately the NHL app is not on there so I may have to buy a Roku to get that

Had Samsung players in the past but they always were glitchy and unreliable after a year or two. Customer service was not able to resolve the issues with their players. Decided to purchase Sony this time. So far so good. Have had the player for about a month or so. Time will tell.

The 4K movie I bought won't play. So I returned the 4K movie I bought thinking the movie was defective. So the second movie wouldn't play in the 4K format either. So obviously, it's the player that's at fault. Regular blu-Ray movies play fine. So my 4K movie won't play in my Sony 4K player on my 4K Television.

I paired this player with a new Sony hd tv. I just popped the dvd in and both the player and tv turn on and automatically detect input. No hunting for right remote or squinting at remote without glasses then having to look in distance with glasses for input device options.

I am new to blu-ray but for the money and what it can do I feel its worth it

We bought this Bluray player after our Samsung crapped out on us after only 1-1/2 years. We love this one because it has all of the streaming channels we need, and the 3D quality is great for a home system. Only time will tell if it outlasts the Samsung, but so far so good.

This very reasonably priced Blue Ray turns any tv into a Smart TV and that is what i have used this for. I have bought 3 of these for myself and for my daughters and it really adds some great dimensions to the tv's we have. and it is a great little Blue Ray player

Works for my bedroom television and backup to my current 3D player. small footprint helps with limited space available. Not as happy with the delay in the device initially reading the disc when turn on or after stopping the disc, nor the location of the buttons for pause and stop on the remote.

Used this on a 70" Samsung 4K HDR TV and couldn't see a big improvement in playback of 1080p Blu-Ray movies. Perhaps the TV already does a good job of scaling up natively, but didn't get amazed by the picture. The response time is pretty good and wireless connectivity worked good as well.

The Blu Ray functions and features of this thing are perfect nothing surprising there. The wifi part is disappointing. It only connects at G speed and range. NOTE: It will not connect to a wireless N network (or any 5 Ghz). If you don't care about that then buy this you wont be disappointed.

After buying an LG Blu Ray player that wouldn't connect over my home wifi, LG refunded my full purchase price. I returned to Best Buy and bought the Sony player. It has performed perfectly over the same wifi connection. I am completely satisfied with this Sony unit.

Was using ps4 for watching blu rays and 3d blu rays. Decided to move it, so got this blu ray player to replace it in one room. Has a very small footprint, but the interface is still very fast. Just takes a bit of time to startup, but once that is done, it works great.

After looking at reviews for a lot of DVD/Blu-ray/Wifi players we settled on this one. Our old one did not connect to the router. This one connects with no problem! We have not had any issues and bought another one as well! I would definitely recommend this!

It was almost perfect in every way, but it has occasional hiccups. Some of these include not being able to open an app, because "the media tray is open, or there is a disk", even when there's not; or, saying its not connected to a network, but when you go to the settings it is; etc. etc.

We thought our old blue ray was on the blink because shows will freeze up on Hulu or Netflix. Must be another problem because same thing is still happening.....so we believe it is a good blue ray player but it didn't fix our problem.....where's the Geek Squad when you need them?

Great upscaler! Keep in mind though that it only upscales to "near 4K quality" which is not to be confused with 4K. Also know that this does not play 4K movies. It is only meant for DVDs and Blu-rays. However, if you are fine with these things, this product performs great.

It is a good bang for the buck if you need an extra player for a guest room or for your child. I do not recommend as your primary player if you have a high end TV. The construction is a little cheap but it is very compact.

My previous player would not open the tray door. That player was seven years old. I purchased this player and it has performed well. It has added features that I have not used. I am extremely happy with this player and would recommend this player.

It has a tough time picking up my wifi signal but it's good

I purchased the Blu-ray player at the suggestion of the Best Buy salesperson. Installation was easy. It does everything I need it to do. Happily I can operate it with the same SideView app as I use to control my Sony TV. Good value for the money!
