Unlike my previous Samsung blu ray player, this one is solid and actually responds to the buttons being pressed. There is also no loud noise coming from the player. I'm extremely satisfied with this product.

Never owned anything 3D so didn't know what to expect,I'm soooo glad I bought this blu Ray in 3D, but make sure your TV is 3D compatible or it won't work. We love watching 3D movies and relaxing eating popcorn!!!! #movienight

After a few carefree weeks of TV, ,all of a sudden I got a 'no signal' on the tv. Geek Squad techs came back and repaired what was wrong at no charge as it was still under warranty on the installation.

The Sony blu-ray and up components have gone a bit down in quality but 4k is still up and coming so I hope they bounce with better for a good price. Definitely not a bad buy.

Playback from this bluray player is excellent! And initial setup was a breeze. The physical size of the player is smaller that I expected; but I guess that goes with everything else being miniaturized.

I've been wanting to get a new Blue ray player for a while now and wished I would have done it again long time ago. This player has some great features and the remote doesn't get any easier to use.

I actually came to the store to buy a samsung model that I had researched. They had everything but the one I wanted. So I bought the Sony which still works after a few weeks.

Use it primarily to connect to Amazon Prime. However I also use it to connect to a USB drive that I have copied all my DVDs to. Makes listing and selecting the file (movie) I want to watch very easy.

The only complaint I have is sometimes you have to push a button more than once to get it to work. Sometimes 2 or 3 times. I love the features of being able to watch my Amazon prime videos and movies through it.

I was looking to upgrade to a 3D player and this one was a good value and works very well. When more movies come out in 4K I will upgrade again. I like Sony products so that is why I bought this one.

3D quality is great, functions are a bit clunky. I am a subscriber to PlayStation Vue and it seems odd that this is not one of the apps that are available to download or add to the system, but PlayStation Now is.

I saw it would upgrade hidef to a quality just below 4K. What I was surprised to learn was how easy it was and how well it did at converting regular blu ray discs to excellent quality 3D!

I hate that no Blue-ray players come with analog audio out anymore. If you need to use it in an event situation you can't separate the audio to connect to an audio board without having to use an expensive audio de-embedder.

The unit was sold implying that it was Bluetooth capable, which it wasn't, I had to replace it with the next model up, the Bdps6700. The Bdps6700 now operates up to my expectations and more.

We are new to Blu-ray, and appreciate the better screen resolution and the internet connectivity, but bringing the unit or switching between functions is painfully slow.

I have a Samsung Blu Ray player in the past and after the update failed to apply and then the player would not work I bought this on. Sony has great products and this one did not disappoint me.

Overall it is a good player, but you do not necessarily get all the apps it says you will. That is dependent on what state and area you live in. A little disappointed in that, but it is a good Blu-Ray player.

ASKED THE BEST BUY EMPLOYEE WHAT HE WOULD BUY IF IT WERE HIMSELF.....HE SELECTED THIS ONE....NORMALLY I GET MULTIREGION PLAYERS CAUSE I WATCH A LOT OF UK STUFF.....BUT THIS DID THE JOB AT HAND.

I bought this Blu-ray player about 2 years ago and it's still going strong. The only thing that I would have love for it to have is screen mirroring with your cell phone.

Plays blu-ray fine. Only issue is it feels cheap. Does not have the solid build like my older sony blu ray. Hope the out side does not represt the inside.
