This is an awesome blu ray player, but it is NOT a 4k player as I had thought. It does 4k upscaling, which means nothing to me. Perfectly good blu ray player, just not a 4k player. I'd recommend for what it is.

Bought the unit to replace a very old Sony Bluray unit that didn't have Ethernet so wouldn't play the newer discs. The new one solved the issue and plays so much quicker than the old one.

I wanted this to be able to play discs, but more than ever, I wanted something I could plug my media collection in to. The software literally plays every format- avi, mov, MP4 and more.

I bought this not only to play my blue ray's, but also to play music I downloaded to flash drives. The player reads the flash drives just fine and I can play my downloaded music using the player through my TV.

Bought this to replace a DVD player and didn't realize it came with Smart TV apps. Now added Netflix streaming plan and love it. Got it for free for one month to try it out and it is great.

Didn't want to spend $300 on a true 4K Blue Ray player so I settled for this which is still very good just not a true 4K. I didn't know when a purchased a few 4K DVD's that they wouldn't play on this unit.

Although I've had issues with Sony several years ago, I purchased this unit as the specs looked good and the price was okay. The disk loads quickly and the smart apps work as specified.

I've only used this a few times so far, but it seems to work really good, and unlike my old one, you don't have to wait forever after pushing the power button to be able to use it.

We had gone into store for this product along with a new television reviewed seperatly and geek squad set it up and we are totally happy with it functionality and being a smart receiver.

Sony - Bdps6500 Streaming 4k Upscaling 3d Wi-fi Built-in Blu-ray Player works great. It was super easy to install and the image is pretty amazing. I would highly recommend this product.

Was able to setup the unit, however, it would not allow me to use the remote to choose options once I entered an app. Hooked the old unit back up and it worked correctly. Do not recommend contacting Geek Squad with questions on how to fix as they only wanted to send a tech at a $99/hour fee and it was a brand new unit. Went into the store and they were great about exchanging it. Once I try the new one out, I will be able to determine if this was a good purchase or not.

This Blue Ray Player is well worth the money spent. Plugged it in to the TV and put in a DVD and it plays them really good. I went out and bought a Blue Ray movie and cant wait to see what it looks like.

This bluray seems to be good quality, works good. the only thing we find to have issues with the when streaming the menus displays are small and hard for my husband to read. but otherwise good product.

I love this unit. It’s a very compact design and remote has very good range. Load time for disks could be better. Seems like I don’t have to do any manual software updates.

I've always wanted to purchase a blue ray DVD PLAYER..I'M glad I waited until now i think everyone has tried enough of them to see which ones last and this one has great reviews

We were looking for a blu Ray player that would play a flash drive. This plays blu ray, DVDs, and reads flash. Exactly what we wanted !

The player had a lot of aps included// you can even play PS3 games on it// The picture gets upscaled & has a lot of cool features

When I was oooking for this blue ray player, my sales associate was extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Was able to get what I needed and a very reasonable cost. Very satisfied

The picture quality and operation of the unit is very good. There were a couple of streaming apps not included on the unit but overall I am happy with it.

doesn't have a display and didn't realize that in the store. for $100 i'd expect a display on the front of the box. nothing great but not a bad unit.
