    I brought this to play the new 4K UHD movies b/c the sales guys said it would but it doesn't. I made sure it was updated with the latest software and it still didn't. Might be a great blu-ray player but I'm taking it back b/c it's not what I needed.

      Hi xian73, thank you for taking the time to write a review. Based on the specifications of the player, playing UHD / 4k discs are not supported. However, you can boost your Blu-ray movies, DVDs, and photos to near-4K quality. Dave
