Great upscaling feature. The preloaded apps are great.

When comparing to my former player that was 3 years old, difference in processing speed was night and day, especially with streaming. Easy to use menu and navigation. After watching a few DVD's and lots of streaming we're very happy with this Sony player.

The Blu-ray player is very easy to use and works very well. However, the name lists this as a 4K UHD Upscale player when it actually is not a 4K Blu-ray player. I would recommend this to a friend only if they did not have 4K TV. The actual 4K players are now available for sale.

Does what it's supposed to and provides a brilliant image and sound, but I miss a digital display showing the time, etc. I think they wanted to keep it compact and easy to use, and it certainly is that.

I was looking for a player that would stream content such as Amazon and Netflix and this player streams with the best of them. I went with this model because I wanted a speedy player and so far I am happy with my purchase. It boots up in a matter of seconds and Blu-Ray playback is phenomenal on my 6 year old Sony XBR TV.

Nice product. I like that it comes with so many apps that-even if you don't have smart T.V. You won't need it because there are there(Netflix, holu and many more). One things thou there is not display in front of the player, that can tell you which song to choose in case you playing a CD, unless you have the T.V. on and connected to the player.

I was surprised by the size of the player. It is fairly compact which is good for me as it fits well in my entertainment cabinet. I've had no major problems using it. It produces an excellent picture for DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. I did have quite an ordeal connecting to my home network. To be fair, the player is fairly distant from my Wi-Fi router. It is on the other side of my home. I did seek assistance in getting it to connect and ended up getting a dual band router that had a stronger signal than my original router. I can't really blame the player for this situation but it was frustrating. The Wi-Fi does work with good picture quality. Like most SONY products, the price is a bit high but I find it to still be a good value.

Excellent quality, small to fit on mantle below tv

This was the first Blu-ray player I have purchased. Playing of movies to a 55" LCD 4K TV shows superb images. We like/use several of the "Smart TV' features that it comes with: Images, music and video from an iPad, easy plug in of USB memory stick to run these same file types. Passing of full Dolby 5.1 Surround thru TV optical to my audio AVR ..

Super easy to set up and get connected to Wi-fi and Netflix. Really like the customizable home screen for saving favorite apps. E erything seems to load much faster than previous 3 yr old Sont 3D Blu-ray player (movies, streaming content, etc. Love having full internet accessibilty via remote mouse pointer too.

This Bluray player is priced well. It has a small form factor and digital streaming features. It boots up fast and plays movies quickly. Also, it upconverts to 4k quality. It's great.

We were just in store looking for a simple Blu Ray/DVD player but after the sales person learned we just recently purchased a 4k TV, he recommended this Sony 4k enhanced Blu Ray player. Since we never owe another Blu Ray player so not sure if this one is better than another. But we do like the picture quality.

This blu-ray player has nice features and is very compact
