We needed a small dvd/Blu-ray player for the TV in our room. It was a great fit. We have a Sony TV so it is nice to also have a Sony player. It works great and has other feature besides playing movies. Worth every penny

I was having trouble with the smart features on my sony tv. Netflix kept freezing and I would have to reset the network interface on the tv. The netflix streaming on this dvd players works just fine, no problems so far.

Bought this for and with a friend who had researched the product and selected it for its quality, features and sale price.

this was an addition tom y movie room. and I needed something to play Blu-ray other than my ps4.. and its a great addition. under 100 dollars. and a better addition, it has a usb plug in.. functionality and price makes this a great buy.

Not much to say, sales person recommended it when we purchase new flat screen TV. Got home plugged it in, attached the HDMI and it works great, we like the lower profile and size. First 3D home video and played fine.

I purchased this DVD player to replace a seven year old Panasonic. As you would expect, this machine blows the doors off of my older one which cost more than this new one. As a result, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Was easy to install. Have a smart TV with Netflex. When showing movies in 4K with this unit the picture is very clear and looks like you are right there. It is crystal clear and really great with landscape scenes.

This blu-ray performed great with our new 4k TV that we purchased at Best Buy. The Sony BDPS6500 Blu-ray Player is the way to go!

I really liked the product because of the simple connections and set up . As well as the remote syncing with my TV set so I can operate the DVD and my TV with the same remote. Plus the fact that it can be updated .

After buying a Sony 4K TV we wanted to get a 4K Blu-Ray player. This unit is a great compliment to the Sony 4K TV. The images are fantastic. Until Sony comes out with a true 4K blu-Ray player this will do just fine.

The picture is 4k quality on a 32" 1080p TV/Monitor.I use this Blue Ray player with a PC. The picture is also superior to a Smart 4k TV/Monitor offering. Highly recommended for anyone that has already spent a bundle on a 1080p set.

This blu-ray was simple to set up. It has an easy navigation for streaming the popular apps (netflix, Amazon, etc). Fast speeds. We have not sued the actual blu-ray player yet but it beats the Smart TV system.

This was great addition to my theatre room. When set up properly it automatically switches input on tv by itself. Great picture and 3D is amazing. And it was free with the purchase of a Sony receiver. Who knew.

The unit seems easy to operate, although it appears the electronics are getting away from direct functions. There are no buttons for play or pause on front, just open and close.It plays well and offers an option to be in standby to make start up time less. Sony was smart to mention it consumes power to do so.It's compact and fits easily in my space. It was on sale and I usually look at those items first, especially if it's a known brand I owned before. I'd buy it again.

We have used the player a few times and it performed perfectly to date. We are about 30-days into our use of the product. From all that we have experienced, we expect this product to perform for many years.

I am happy with my purchase. I just wish that the unit had a display to show disc details such as how long the movie is and where the movie is at any given time. This helps when you have to stop the movie and go back to it later.

Great price for a 3d upscaling blu-ray player. Very easy to set and use. Greats apps and ease of use allow me to by-pass the smart tv apps. The smaller remote with full functioning works great - a big plus!

I bought this to replace a Samsung BluRay that was faulty. Best Buy is the greatest! They took the bad one back and let me get the Sony instead. Very pleased. The Sony is a higher quality.

I bought this along with a new 55" Sony Bravia Ultra 4K 3D TV so it would upscale my regular dvd's also. It does a great job. It brings them close to BluRay quality. The Streaming apps are pretty much the standard ones but it does have the PSN app. These are not really needed by me as I have them all builtin the TV but I tried Netflix and Amazon apps and they stream very well. The 3D works well combined with the TV. This is a great device and I recommend it.
