I was thrilled to get a Blu-ray player. It comes with so many other features which I thought I didn't need because I have a Smart TV. Lots for me to discover. Still think Sony is the best.

This player is awesome. Even the regular dvd's look like Blue Ray. More Apps then I know what to do with. Simple setup, easy to understand.

I hadn't had a DVD player for a longtime and after reading reviews and being advised that our older DVD's would look and sound better on our new 4K TV, we purchased the above player. We are not disappointed.

The product is very user friendly. The additional buttons on the remote (e.g. Net Flix and Home) provide great shortcuts. The menu is very easy to navigate for the various built in resources.

This is the best Blu-ray player that I have ever had. Its fast, got lots of built in Apps, and the PlayStation now is a great added feature!

It has performed well and it has a lot of apps included. It starts up much faster than my old player and I have not had any issues playing old or new discs.

This was just what I needed. I'm working on building my ultimate theatre system a little bit at a time. With a purchase of a 3d tv earlier this year, a streaming 3d blu-Ray was the perfect fit and works great.

Easy set up and I like how small it's. We have it in our bedroom and does not take up a lot of space. I love the 4K option with our new tv. It's also very easy to use Netflix and Pandora

I bought this 3D blu ray player to go with the sony X850B 4K tv. All I can say is Wow! The 3D looks amazing and it even up scales to 4K too.

I bought this because I got a new 4K TV and I had an older model Sony Blu-Ray that didn't upscale. I like this player very much. The picture quality on Blu-Ray movies are much better.

I bought this as a replacement for a 2014 Sony Blu Ray Player because of the size, and it works great. No issues with disks, and the menu is much more intuitive than the older version.

Great picture, great features, easy set up, low price! It's a perfect match for my 65" Sony 4K tv!

I like the small format, but I was a little surprised when I realized that there were no physical controls at all - all onscreen/remote. I sometimes like to hit "play" without looking for the remote...

The load speed is fast only a few seconds. This can stream you-tube, hulu, etc.. The search can be cumbersome. You have to pick each letter one by one.

I don't have a 4K or 3D compatible TV, however this blu ray player is great quality. It works quickly and the picture quality is noticeably clearer than my older Sony blu ray player. I also love the customisable homescreen apps, very user friendly.

Beautiful images even from old DVDs. Small but powerful. The 4K upscaling makes a big difference.

This purchase was an upgrade from a very old BluRay player. We don't watch many movies on discs, but find this unit to be very adequate for our needs. It was priced just right on sale.

I would like to give this unit two and a half stars. However, I gave it a 3 star rating because it was better unit than a 2 star rating would imply. The unit is fairly noisy and is not really responsive to the remote control unit. The remote control unit's buttons do not really have a positive feel when pressed. You also need to aim this remote directly at the IR pickup on the unit. The play button on my remote sometimes does not put the unit into play mode.

This 4k blu ray player is top notch. It upgrades DVD's and Blu Rays to the highest quality. I matched it up with my new 4K TV and it is awesome. Sony blu ray players can not be beat,

My kids gave me this as a birthday gift and I love it! It was super easy to set it up and connects easily to the internet to use all the apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube etc...) TV is about 8 years old and it hooked up fine with it. After getting rid of cable this was a sanity saver! I really like being able to connect to the music stations/channels as well. The dvd player has a great picture also. Highly recommend this product.
