A great BD player with dual core processor. I could feel the difference right away. No more cross media interface found in old bluray players. I really like the favorite button on remote which lets you choose any other app. Highly recommended

This machine gives very clear pictures and upconverts dvds to bluray well. Have not tested it on a 4k tv yet, but given the seamless quality I see so far, have no doubts I will be pleased.

I got this to replace my outdated DVD player. Setup was a breeze. So far, it works perfectly. I'm able to connect to my home network and stream Netflix, YouTube and Pandora flawlessly.

I originally wanted to purchase a 4k player to complement the 4k television I got back in December, but seeing as they were multiple hundreds of dollars and I figure they'll drop the price pretty quick over the next couple of years, I went with this upconverting blu-ray player. I am not disappointed in any way. The picture is superb and even the little things like the player sending a signal through the HDMI cable to turn on the tv and set it to the right input when the power is turned on, makes me happy. Once again Sony is showing me why I am not disappointed that I have transitioned over to them from Samsung on my electronic devices.

You can tell the difference when playing your Blu-ray on this player, but to say that it is near 4k quality is not quite accurate. There are some Blu-rays that it actually made look worse due to the attempt to OVER digitize the picture. I used this player on a Sony XBR4 HDTV, a Samsung 6300 HDTV and my new Samsung 8000, but the picture was only slightly better than that of my PS3. There is definitely an improvement, but to call it near 4k is not accurate. If you need a Blu-ray player, then yes I would suggest you buy this. BUT, if you want to upscale your Blu-rays to 4k quality, this will not quite do it. I do not know if this would be the same for every "4k upscaling" Blu-ray player, or just this one.

I'm not very technologically savvy and this player is simple to use and setup. Accessing the internet is a breeze as well. I think this is a good player especially for the price.

Just plugged it in, after linking it with the HDMI, and it performed flawlessly. Great picture and sound too. Students loved the video quality and sound. Easy to set up and use.

I usually have a hard time with the wireless Bluetooth-ray players that I have purchased. This one is great, no streaming issues so far and there are a lot of apps to choose from.
