I bought this to go with my new 4K TV. great companion device. Easy set up.

I was looking for a player that could also stream Netflix. This player was so easy to set up and connecting to the Internet was a breeze. No complaints.

I love this Blu-ray player, the graphics are great, the built in Wi-Fi is perfect and it has a Netflix button on the remote. Make sure to buy a HDMI cable, as it only came with the player and a remote, and you have to buy the cable separately (annoying!) and check your TV to make sure you have an extra HDMI spot. My TV has only 1 HDMI port, so I have to buy an HDMI switch too. otherwise it is great!

I got a new TV, so why not upgrade from DVD to Bluray? Love this little unit. I do miss the display telling u how far u are into the disc, but other than that this is very simple and easy to use. Hookup was easy too-just one cable. The size was a big surprise-it is half the size of my DVD player!

this is our 3rd. the first we had to return because it quit working consistently after 6 months. The 2nd wouldn't recognize the remote control that was in the box. The 3rd has worked great. We got the 1st 2 at Walmart and the 3rd at Best Buy. Don't think it should have made a difference but will be getting our electronics from somewhere other than Walmart from now on

This Blu Ray Smart player was exactly what we have been looking for. It's small and slim to keep under the flat screen tv. We have streamed Netflix on this every night since we have gotten it, and it has worked amazingly well for our family. We will probably get another one. Great price. Easy to get the benefits of a smart TV without paying the price for a smart TV.

Bought this Blu-ray player shortly after we bought our new TV. Connected it to the TV with the HDMI cables and we were watching a movie within minutes.

First Sony blu-ray player experience. Great disc playback and very slightly does improve DVD image quality. Only issue I have is the wifi losing connection and then having to reconnect when you want to use for example Netflix or other online apps. Tried the trouble shooting advice from other forums as well Sony suggestions but still does not work as should. But at that price you kinda get what you pay for. Overall great player for movie discs and good quick loading time for Netflix or Amazon prime.

I typically am not a big fan of Sony components but I bought this because it had the features I was looking for and was a reasonable price. It seems to work well but I have had a few issues with it just turning itself off. I haven't been able to tell if this is an issue with the box or maybe my setup is causing it to overheat and shut down. The jury is still out, but it typically performs well.

looking for a dvd player to match my sony 4k tv. pairs great with it. plus the remote can be used for both pieces helping to minimize remote confusion.

I think it's awesome, as I said it's my first but I bought a brand name that I trust (Sony) and it is great!
