    I purchased this to replace a HTIB Blu-ray player. It does what I need it to. Plays discs and runs good sound through my new surround system made up of Polk Audio speakers and a Yamaha receiver. I don't use the 3D or the apps as I already have an Apple TV and no 3D TV. Small enough to fit almost anywhere you would need it. I like it.

    I bought a 4K tv recently, but don't feel $400 is worth the 4K player. (As we all know they will go down in price sooner, rather than later) This upscaler will justifiably tide me over. The resolution from streaming 4K content appears to be flawless, and upscaling Blurays looks phenemenal. A worthwhile investment, should you find yourself in the same boat as I was.
