We like that it's compact. Works perfectly. Haven't had any problems with it. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a player at a good price!

Sony has done it best compared to the other "big" brands. It is fast to start up and does not lock up or skip no matter what format I put in. Bought another of this same model for my other 4K TV.

The only knock I have on this player is that it does not come packaged with an HDMI cable. Once I found an extra one it was a breeze. Be warned you will have to purchase this cable to hook up this player.

good unit - inferior audio output level
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.set up was easy and the unit functions well EXCEPT the audio output level is very very weak. there is no way to adjust the output gain on the unit so you have to turn up your television audio a lot - this causes a terrible signal to noise ratio. i would not buy this unit again.

The software is the same as the PS3/4 systems and it works great. If you have PS3/4 controllers, you can use those as well. Picture quality is excellent and fit and finish is top notch.

I was disappointed when I needed a 4K player for my new TV and Sony does not yet have one available. I tend to prefer the 6500 over the competitors unit I bought to get 4K. Hard to beat Sony products.

This one fit my needs and works great. Fast start up time and excellent picture quality. Very good internet menu for Netflix etc. Good remote too.
