Very helpful if you watch youtube videos. The record mat is cheap material, not weighty like my last turntable. Package very good inside the box, the drive belt is attached with tape, just pull over to pulley and ready to go. Not expensive, but for the price, it does the job if you just want to listen to old albums that were put away.

You can manually life the tonearm which starts the turntable and set it on the track you like, or you can use a button to lift it and then place it over the spot and then use the button to lower it, or you can press a button and all of it is done automatically. Because the pickup cartridge is specifically designed for this turntable there is no need for an anti-skate feature and no need for a balancing control. The caveat is you are limited to the choices Sony provides for this turntable. I have not tested the bluetooth as I prefer a wired connection from my receiver to speakers.

It’s a little more than some of the other options out there but the options and quality make it worth it. I didn’t think the Bluetooth option was something I’d use but it ended up being my most used method. It sets up well with a recorder which is nice, but the ability to connect by Bluetooth to other speakers around the house has been really convenient.
