The turntable we had, broke a long time ago and we were just sitting on a pile of vinyl records. Not only does this turntable restore the feel and experience of owning one, but it also delivers raw quality sound through connected Bluetooth speakers. The design is slim, light and easily portable from room to room as you see fit. However, although portable, the turntable has to be plugged in the wall. Connecting to Bluetooth speakers isn't the only way to get sound as there is a hard wire option to connect to your existing hi-fi system. They really thought of everything to make vinyl records relevant again.

Didn’t even work or turn on, bought another one, didn’t work either…

First off, understand that I'm a record hoarder and not an audiophile. I love my records, but my hearing isn't good enough for me to notice if the quality is a bit off. What I do notice is convenience. This record player is super light, and the bluetooth connections to enabled speakers makes this a very attractive turntable. This works anyplace where you have a power source! When we moved into a much smaller house, the only place for the record collection is in a covered, watertight, porch, where there isn't really room to set up a full stereo system. We do have a few bluetooth enabled speakers, though, so, now, with this turntable, we can sit by the records and play them all! It is a perfect solution to our situation. Also, we can easily pack up the turntable and speaker and carry it with us to picnics, camping, parties, or anywhere where we might need a record player. Set up was very quick and easy, you do need to install the belt, the platter and the cover, but that's all easy-peasy. The bluetooth pairing function is also pretty quick and easy. What I did notice is that the gears are plastic. In the long run, that worries me a bit as I suspect that they'll wear out. Still, for the money and the convenience, this a great addition to the household. I would totally recommend this to anyone needing a mobile party, or set up a record player in an inconvenient spot.

I’m new to the record playing game and needed a simple player to get me going. The auto play works perfect! The Bluetooth works great as well! I play it through a sound bar/sub system. I also have it wired to a receiver and a set of Bose 301’s. Great sound using both ways! Couldn’t be happier!

Picked this up today, got a open box satisfactory one. I currently have a audio technia one. Wanted to try this one as it has a volume gain button. The previous owner i assume didnt assemble it right, wheni put the record on it, it sounded slow and wanky, after looking at the band, it was installed incorrectly, thier loss, my gain The sound is good, to be honest its slightly louder then the audio technia player, BUT, it has MUCH better bass and treble on it. The other sounded kinda hollowish. So deff liking this one, its worth spending the extra $$ if u really like sound. The other is good for beginners who listen to casual LPs, i listen to mostly soundtracks so the bass and treble are a must have for me

I really like this turntable, just plugged in the coax to my receiver, pushed the on button on the back side of the unit, plugged it in, laid down a vinyl record and hit the start button on the front right side and then started to listen to the vinyl album. This unit is automatic, no more manual lifting of the tone arm, the tone arm lifts and slowly lays down on the album automatically and once the songs are done the tone arm lifts off and goes back to shut machine off. Looks great and works well with my Sony receiver and Sony vintage ss-S850WR speakers.

Sounds great. Great value. Remember, Sony is famous for having the best sound!

Amazing value for the money. It was hard to find a decent quality turntable with automatic function. It is absurd that there are not more similar options for consumers. When higher end manufactures realize that only a small percentage of buyers demand a turntable that requires hand placement of the needle and also at end of record then consumer. Lest you think I am a red neck when it comes to music I assure that is not the case. I have a very high end Denon receiver paired with high end Klipsch seven speaker set up. I might change the cartridge when it wears out but it sounds great now

I bought this as a first turntable and liked the connectivity with a Bluetooth speaker I purchased, its simple and sleek design, and its automatic start and stop features. Being a novice to vinyl, I don't have a great reference for how the records should sound, but I thought the audio was decent. One aspect that did annoy me was the amount of surface noise that came off the record. My parents own a record player, and I remembered having heard this to some degree with theirs, but it seemed to be more pronounced with this model. Nevertheless, it was suitable for my novice ears. About 7-8 months after purchasing it and playing it with what I would consider to be less than average use, I started to have issues with the turntable. First it was the stop button; the record wouldn't stop spinning and the tone arm didn't lift up and go back to its rest. I reached out to Sony and to their credit, they promptly put me in touch with a third party company that repairs their turntables. The company was professional in its handling of my issue, but it failed to diagnose the problem the first time around, and I had to send the turntable back a second time before it came back to me with a working stop button. However, I now found that the record failed to stop spinning when it reached the end of the side; it was doing this previously. I ultimately received a refund for the turntable since it was still under warranty and purchased a slightly higher end model from a different company. I'm unclear if mine was a lemon or if the parts are just made shoddily, but at the price point for this turntable, I would opt to spend a little more and get something higher quality.
