Sony Turntable

She paired it with a Sony Bluetooth speaker. The sound is tremendous and the turntable is great. Her older brother has had the same turntable for the last two years and it has held up great. I am currently looking at purchasing this same turntable for myself.

Out of box there is some additional assembly. When placing the plate you must adjust the band to wrap around the motor spindle. After that it’s very straightforward. There is no aux cable input. I mostly use it with Bluetooth speaker or wireless headphones.

Our home uses Sonos, and because of the line outs I was able to hook it up to a Sonos Amp and can now play music throughout the house. I also have a few records which don't exist digitally, so the USB port was great for digitizing those records so I can hear them on the go. It also has Bluetooth, but I haven't used that function yet.

A great feature your son is probably already enjoying is the fully automatic one-step playback. I've had it about a month and used it 4 times. My Bose speaker wouldn't pair with it, but the JBL did fine.

Sound output is great. Paired this to my Yamaha sound bar. Music is better than I could have imagine. Great to hear that crackle again. Could have bought a less price turntable but sony makes awesome products

The bluetooth connection isn't the best and the lid attracts a lot of dust, but other than that this turntable is great. The automatic play / stop works great and I haven't had any issues with speed or sound quality.

Very easy to use and I recommend it for an entry level player to anyone wanting to enjoy vinyl. Do not buy this as a open box. I believe people have been stealing certain parts out of them to make their players work. Same issue with 2 purchased prior to getting a new one.
