Does not feel like a $250 product. Looks metal in picture but its actually cheap quality plastic with plastic buttons painted to look like metal. Also, it does not say it includes an integrated (non-detachable) rca cable anywhere and I wasted $25 on one. Will be returning.

I got this today and was a bit on the fence of whether or not it would be worth the price. I was stunned by the ease of use and how it looks out of the box. It lokks sleek and professional. And was super easy to set up. Bluetooth was also amazing as there was little to none latency. I wouldn’t describe myself as an audiophile but I definitely appreciate sound quality. With the Bluetooth it doesn’t sound like you lose any of the sound quality. I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in a well made and sturdy record player that will last you a long time!

Does not work at all. Bought 2 times to see if it was defective and apparently both did not work. Followed all instructions on how to put it together and turns on but does not want to play any records.

Did not work at all, neither Bluetooth or audio connection worked. I I took it to geek squad to get it checked, they took it to the back and they got it to “work”, they said it was working fine and supposedly got it to work with a speaker I took to show it wasn’t working. I take it home to set up again did not work at all, geek squad lied

I had to purchase this item at the Avon, IN store because Muncie, IN did not have it in stock. When we had difficulties installing it, the Muncie store Geek Squad said they couldn't help because they knew nothing about turntables. Do I have to drive an hour to Avon to get help?!?

Right upfront, this turntable is not plug and play, and assembly is required. It is just the nature of the turntable as to not damage components during transport/shipping. It is a fairly easy setup, but may seem a bit confusing to those novice with record players. The instructions are well written to guide you through the setup easily. Be sure not to jump the gun like I did by removing the red plastic tab from the metal plate before installing, as it is needed to install the belt on the motor pulley. You can still install the belt with out it, but makes it more difficult. Once setup the rest is pretty simple, and again the instructions do a great job of guiding you through everything. This turntable does have Bluetooth connectivity so you are able to wirelessly connect to a receiver or any other Bluetooth audio source. When initially pairing, you need to hold down the pairing button for several seconds to put it into detect mode so your audio source can find it. A couple gripes I have with this turntable, is that the RCA out that comes with it, is not detachable from the turntable itself, which makes for some excess clutter and having to tie up and tuck away the cable if you decide to use Bluetooth instead. Also, the needle makes some noise that can be heard if you have the lid open when playing a record, or playing your music at a lower volume. The turntable has 2 speeds, includes an adapter for a 45 (which tucks nicely into the side of the case) and a volume adjust switch on the back that adjusts the crossover volume based on the recording quality of the record you are using so you can keep it louder as needed. The overall construction is very nice. The front buttons do feel a bit light and fragile, but the rest is ok. Once you have it setup and record ready to play, hitting the start button the front panel will automatically move the arm off the resting post and onto the record to start playback. You have to adjust the arm from there to skip songs. To stop playback, just hit the stop button on the front panel and after a few seconds, the arm will lift and return back to the resting post. Pushing the up/down button on the front panel during playback will lift the arm off the record, essentially pausing the music. Hit the button again to resume playing. It is also important to note that there is a plastic protective piece on the needle that needs to be removed before attempting playback, and the instructions recommend keeping that piece and putting it back on when not using the turntable for long periods of time, or when moving it. Overall, the music clarity is pretty superb when using either RCA or Bluetooth. It is pretty sleek looking and easy to operate. Besides having to assemble it and the couple gripes I had, it is definitely recommendable as a solid turntable to add to your audio collection.

Wow! Bring Out All My Old Albums

Wasn't too sure about this purchase as I haven't used a turntable (record player??) in quite a while. I have lots of old albums to include many classic and Japanese imports. I missed the old "full" sound of albums and what turntables could produce. So here comes the Sony turntable allowing me to rip those albums to digital formats that I can then play on digital players, computers, etc. Unboxing and setup was relatively easy except for the tonearm setup. Had to do a little "Youtubing" to get right, but then I was on my way. Software from Sony to rip the albums is pretty simplistic but gets the job done. Remember, whatever comes over the turntable and is captured is what you will hear on the capture; dust, skips, and other anomalies. Make sure that you clean your source albums well. Other than that, I was mildly impressed with this product. I can see me going to the local trade store to pick up some classic albums to capture that "turntable" sound that I love. If you have some albums you really want to bring into the present, this is the way to go. Recommended!

    Good and NOT So Good

The Sony PS-LX310BT Wireless Turntable perplexes me. On one hand, when paired via Bluetooth to my Marshall Stanmore II speaker it offers good clean sound. But, one doesn't use a turntable to sanitize music, trying to make vinyl sound more like a cd or mp3. If that's what you want, save the real estate and just play digitized music. The NOT so good.... RCA jacks are built in to the Sony PS-LX310BT Wireless Turntable so I couldn't wait to hook up to my Marantz SR6012 and DT 9040's. To say I was disappointed is the understatement of the millennia. As a former DJ I've had decades of experience spinning up turntables in radio and nightclubs. First off. This thing is feather light. Sorry SONY platters need to be solid and have some weight to them. The tone arm is uber light with no way to adjust the balance. Because the stylus is recessed its difficult to aim for tracks on an LP. There's no light, to aid in aiming. Big letdown there too. Also although you can replace a stylus via SONY, replacing the cartridge is by expert tech only. :( But the most heartbreaking disappointment was the sound. Flat and lifeless. I had to pump my volume to almost 60% to achieve a fuller sound. The music I used for testing on both RCA and Bluetooth was Eric Clapton, TIME PIECES, Pink Floyd THE WALL and GnR APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION. All either brand new or pristine. For a home user who wants to dust off some stored vinyl, this is a very good choice. The Sony PS-LX310BT Wireless Turntable is sleek and stylish that will compliment your system.

Doesn't play on anything via Bluetooth. It will connect but no sound emits from multiple speakers and headphones. I was only offered a repair from Sony which is dumb and exhausting.

When i opened my package, I was missing the hinges that hold the plastic cover from the turntable. Went to Sony Web site, but got delegated to a 3rd party and I am having problems reaching them. At this point I have to hold the cover and remove the cover with both hands.

I can’t really give a fair review because the item did not work out of the box. I returned and got a different model because this one was not available.
