I love this record player, I’ve had it for three years now and it’s still working perfectly. I wanted to buy my partner one for his birthday, so I purchased an “Excellent” condition open box. It came missing the needle and with the arm misaligned, so I had to return it. Very frustrating, as it seems people are buying stuff for parts and then returning them.

I purchased this item as "Open Box Excellent" as a birthday gift. Upon opening the item, I noticed that the turntable was missing the actual belt that engages the platter and makes the record turn. Ignoring the embarrassment of giving a gift with missing parts, I contacted customer service. The only option presented to me was to take the item to a local Best Buy store for them to examine and there was no guarantee that they would even have the missing part. This is a significant inconvenience and requires me to do a lot of work to correct for Best Buy's mistake. To avoid the time and hassle of doing this, I ultimately purchased a replacement OEM belt for the turntable from a different retailer. Overall, it was a terrible purchase experience and I would not recommend.

Very happy with this turntable so far! It connects to my JBL and other Bluetooth speakers very easily. I have a stereo receiver and speakers in my garage but haven’t tried hooking it up to those yet. It’s too much for my living room at the moment. The JBL Bluetooth speaker I have is plenty boom boom for now although I know it would sound much better with the “real” setup. The rca cables are permanently connected to the back of this turntable which some people don’t like but it doesn’t bother me I just left them tied up and I can see them behind the unit anyways. Overall Im stoked with this as my previous turntable was super cheap.

The turn table stopped working. I shipped it to Sony. They said it worked fine and sent it back. Since then it has worked well.

We are so thrilled to have the opportunity to listen to our vinyl records again and it is an excellent product and highly recommend it to anyone searching for a turntable.

Easy to use! Works great! I like the simplicity of the record player. You don’t have to lift or touch the arm the player will start and find the beginning of the first song for you.

As always, great quality from Sony with this product. It was a bit challenging getting the drive belt hooked up. Otherwise, plays smooth and quiet. Very satisfied with is.
