Very good item to play all vinyl music thank you very much

I purchased this item as "Open Box Excellent" as a birthday gift. Upon opening the item, I noticed that the turntable was missing the actual belt that engages the platter and makes the record turn. Ignoring the embarrassment of giving a gift with missing parts, I contacted customer service. The only option presented to me was to take the item to a local Best Buy store for them to examine and there was no guarantee that they would even have the missing part. This is a significant inconvenience and requires me to do a lot of work to correct for Best Buy's mistake. To avoid the time and hassle of doing this, I ultimately purchased a replacement OEM belt for the turntable from a different retailer. Overall, it was a terrible purchase experience and I would not recommend.

The purchase of this item was a gift. The purchase, however, was very smooth with great customer service. The product appears to be well built and good quality.

I received a "Used-Excellent condition" essentially what I expected to just be a box opened unit. I was extremely excited about this turntable, but it literally didn't work at all. The sound from the records was basically all glitchy static, and the needle on this unit, to my knowledge, cannot be replaced, so I immediately boxed it up and sent it back. I liked that it had a feature that had a button to just press play and stop while the lid was closed, as the turntable I bought instead does not have this feature, but unfortunately, the fact that the needle was not replaceable and this came broken yet was supposedly in "excellent condition" warrants 2 stars from me.

Sony and I have always had a wonderful relationship and I decided to give this a try. It has been absolutely perfect. It does things that I didn't even know I needed like managing the needle so I don't have to hope I get it right and start my song in the middle of it... It's very simple and worth every penny.

Love this record player. Easy to set up and it plays clean. Also really easy to re-pack when I moved.

The record player is great. My mother plays her music everyday. Just know that you will need to purchase a sound at or speakers in order to use it.

Setup out of the box was pretty simple and straightforward. Easy to use and simple hook up to a receiver with the hardwired audio cables. This was a gift for my son and he’s very happy with it.
