This TV replaced a 42" Vizio that I had for a few years. The picture quality is amazing, and the price is reasonable for the screen size. The number of HDMI inputs is more than other comparable TV's of the same size/price.

Principally compared the Sony Bravia 48" class against various Samsung and Panasonic (at a Best Buy sales man's behest) models. Personal research had inclined me to the Sony, though the sales man suggested the refresh rate on the Sony was inferior. Maybe it is, but the Sony picture is nothing short of spectacular, including when viewing basketball or football (so much for the refresh rate). Set-up out of the box was a breeze. I would encourage taking time to adjust the picture aspects to the viewers pleasure...my wife and I probably spent 20 minutes or so, trying to get it "just right". Certainly worth the effort. Nobody does "red" and "black" like Sony. Have a Bose Cinemate audio system, so I can't comment on the factory installed audio system.

I found this TV at my local best buy on sale. I already had one Bravia in my bedroom and was looking for something better for my living room. The TV is extremely light weight compared to my older model of the Bravia. The app selection is better laid out and easier to use on this TV as well.

I saw this TV on line at Best Buy. It was not at my closest store but I found it at another that was not that far away. I went into that store and had the most incredible experience there with a sales associate who was knowledgeable and extremely helpful in meeting my needs. I have had this TV a little over a month and I am more than very pleased! The TV was exactly the size I needed, the picture is fantastic and I am very Blessed to have found exactly what I wanted and got the best of store representatives ever and this chain has really great sales people to start with! I love this TV and my shopping experience!

Bought this to replace an aging 32" TV. Love the picture quality and colors - fantastic for watching movies and shows. The blacks and greys are vivid and the picture looks very balanced. Game of Thrones is awesome on this thing. I saw some people complaining on it taking a long time to set up and for it to connect to the wifi - I had zero issues here. The TV was setup and working in less than 5 minutes when I initially set it up. It takes maybe 30 seconds for some features to work after its been off for a few hours, but that's fine by me. The only slight issue is that the volume really isn't that loud, but since I live in a small apartment, this isn't an issue. Overall, it's a great TV for the price. This will keep me satisfied until 4K TV's become much less expensive!!

Love the picture. Sony always delivers a good product. Has a large selection of apps. Easy to hook up to the wifi. Fast and easy setup. Was on sale when I purchased the TV - great price (had been waiting for the right price).

Had Samsung before, found this on sale and better buy for same quality and features. Later saw ad for anorher $30 less - went to Best Buy and they honored price and got the 30 ! So far a nice TV with lots of features.

This is my first Sony TV and for the price I paid it can't be beat. It has a great picture almost as good as my plasma. As stated earlier for the price you just can't beat it, the features and picture quality are top notch.

Sony makes a great TV. Picture is wonderful. Unit is stylish and easy to mount. Lots of apps that come installed on set. Easy to navigate through all the features. Very satisfied with any Sony TV past and present.

I searched many different HDTV's and decided the best for me was this Sony. Because of the sale price it fit right into my budget so I'm extremely happy with it. Great picture, ease of use, self explanatory.

This is my 4th purchase of this TV, I got 2 at work for the office and loved it so much that I got myself one and my parents one. The picture is great, the price is great and it has all the options you could want.

This TV is an excellent purchase for a small/medium size room. I've had it for 6 months now and no problems at all. The Smart features work amazing even only using WiFi connection. The only minor complain I have is that fact that when activating the motion flow system the image gets pretty dark. I try contacting Sony for help with this configuration but unfortunately is an issue they haven't been able to solve. However, they have a setting for watching sports and one specially dedicated for football which works amazing. If it was 120Hz native refresh rate this would be a 10/10 TV.

its a great tv has all the apps i need and more. The only down side its only 60 Hz but it has a great picture and the price seems right. Would be 5 stars if it was 120Hz

The tv is easy to navigate and has great jpictures. I really like that I have everything I need all in one. Don't even need to get the computer out. Great purchase for the grandkids to use when they are over,

We bought this tv on recommendation of sales person. Had been looking at others, but this fits our needs. Picture quality is just fine, our first smart tv, but easy to set up, even the stand is attractive.

I purchased this TV as an "open box" because I am a PhD student who was looking for an affordable option. This TV is sleek, large, and ultimately a great quality for the price. I found that the built-in apps (Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc.) are superior resolution, but the cable (U-verse) is semi-blurry. I changed resolution settings to 1080 in the cable settings and it helped a lot with the resolution, but it is still not as crisp as built-in app resolution. I don't play video games, so I'm not utilizing the TV to its fullest capacity, but it's serving my intended purpose, which is to fill wall space in my apartment with a good image quality for an affordable price. This is my first Sony product and so far I'm satisfied.

This is a smart television, and it's made having to switch to other modes to accommodate things like Netflix obsolete. The picture is super clear, the sound is great, and it was easy to set up. We love this set.

I've got other Sony sets and this one follows their lead with excellent picture quality and good sound for a base TV. Internet options not as user friendly as a Samsung that I have but are workable. The only real complaint that I have is the stability of the stand. I'm an adult and the set is in a location where I'm generally the only user so I'm not worried about an accident. Unlike other flat screens I have, including Sony's, it is by far the least stable. If it is at all in a high traffic area or young kids are around, it absolutely needs to be anchored. One bump and it will be on the floor.

Love the picture quality when in HD. Easy to set up and configure with router. Enjoy all of the Smart TV features.

Perfect picture with this tv. Tried a Visio first and returned it after 2days. Lots of extras with Sony as well. Can't go wrong with this purchase.
