It's an okay HDTV

We determined that-by the 1.5x equation-the smaller set would be too small for my living room. The increase in size plus the fact that there's hardly any 4K source material compelled me to go with this set. That and it's got 4 HDMI ports for my 3 devices. The set has a nice image but nothing outstanding. I guess this is due to the fact that one needs to get a decent HD source to begin with (a lot of cable stuff is not native HD or is compressed). To that end, the upsampling available on 4K sets might have been worth the money. One intrinsic annoyance with this Sony is that you can't disable the remote clicking sounds.
