    Very light... that means there are short cuts in it or poor internal components...21 pounds on this 48"..? I think, there's something to think about! I owned 5 Sony tv in our household within 20 years or more, but all of these were gone right now. Those units didn't last long. The last Sony tv that we had was, Sony WEGA worth $5,000.00 when I bought it in the year 2002 and I disposed it two weeks ago. The problem was, there was "ghost" on the picture and it's impossible to resolve. I have a bad experienced of Sony. Sorry, I am just revealing what i've gone through.

    This tv is not good for app use, it takes a long time to start the apps. Remote needs to be pointed to the tv else won't work

    USB Media Player does not work.

    I did not buy this set because the media player does not work properly. Plugging in a drive to a usb port and having the tv media player play videos on it is a key feature for me. The media player failed to work on a set a friend owned and also failed on a set in a showroom. A Samsung played videos on the same drive perfectly. (I didn't buy the Samsung because it did not have analog audio output with variable volume.)

    What Happened to Sony Quality?

    I bought a new 48 inch Sony Bravia and within 45 days the screen went black. I could tap on the back of the TV and the screen would come back on for a bit, but then it would happen again. I could still hear sound but couldn't see the screen. Tried different HDMI cables and a different HDMI port, but it didn't fix the problem. I had purchased an extended warranty from Geek Squad, so a guy came out, took apart the tv and called Sony. Apparently this is an issue they are having with other tv's, so it is going to be covered under warranty and I can go to the store and swap it out for another...once Sony finally approves it. It's been 5 days and I still don't have approval to have it covered under warranty. I bought a Sony because I expected it to be the most reliable brand. My last Sony Bravia worked for 8+ years without a problem. I feel like the new Sony is flimsy. I wonder if they went with cheaper materials to save on cost. Regardless, I have been totally dissatisfied with this tv and would not recommend it to others.

    Missing AC adapter- don't buy open box!

    Order certified open box item online. It came without AC adapter / power cord. Cannot power on the tv to see if it works. After calling Best Buy support they suggested that I but the AC adapter from Sony website or eBay, even suggested to call the local store to ask for spare AC adapter. Couldn't find it anywhere for this particular model and it's ridiculous to ask that I buy the power cord myself for a new product certified by Best Buy. Dissatisfied with Best Buy, it is their responsibility to include basic accessories that the TV cannot work without. Will return the TV.

    I bought this TV having a thought that it had a great feature, but it does not have. I can't put up the screen from my iphone or ipad. No internet browser. Thinking it is Sony I thought this will be great but it is not. Will have to return this TV soon

    This has the worst color of any TV I own. Show have bought the Samsung but the salesman talked me into this. I have even ran a color calibration disc on it with not much improvement. I have tried it in two different rooms with different lighting as well. The reds and greens are strange looking and the screen is cloudy looking. Doesn't come close to my other two Samsungs.

    The image and sound are decent but the panel died after 6 months of general use. Sony's customer support is very poor and they make it a struggle to replace or refund on warranty.

    A decent TV but a lot of trouble for some. I bought in June 2014 and just after the warranty expired I get a dark horizontal line across the middle of the TV. It needs a new TCon board which I can probably fix but I shouldn't have to after 14 months of use. There have been more than a few with this problem and I hope you are lucky and can avoid.
