    This is a nice tv but I was a bit disappointed on its clarity but it could just be my cable provider and not tv. I have UVerse. I think if I had a better cable provide the picture would be sharper.

    Paid a lot for this tv. Have always liked Sony products in the past, but this TV is very disappointing. Very difficult to hang on wall with brackets that were included with TV. No genuine picture in picture. Very poorly designed remote, FAVORITES is time consuming to get to favorite channel, which should be a single key stroke. Overall VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE SONY BRAVIA 48 INCH TV.

    Doesn't Use UNIVERSAL VESA Mounting.

    Just got t.v. home. SONY does not use a universal VESA mount. Meaning it does not fit into an existing mounting system in our home that is used by many of the other major t.v. brands. This is completely ridiculous. I understand there is an option to purchase an adapter so that this t.v could fit my mount but because of the location of the SONY screw holes the adapter would make the t.v. look way higher than we would like it. We'll be returning this TV immediately and avoiding SONY going forward.

    Bought this April 3 2015, stopped working July 22 2015. Sony support is a joke, too many hoops to jump through to get tv serviced. Will not buy Sony again..

    The TV picture is great and the sound options are great; but I bought this TV for Smart features. NO Live Streaming or HBO GO. You get Hulu, Netfix, Crackle and a few other familiar apps. Samsung is a more progressive TV.

    No picture, horrible customer service

    Picture went black after only 3 weeks and couldn't even get menu to trouble shoot either. Sony customer service is THE WORST with a 20 minute wait every time I call. They promised to ship a new TV but the order keeps getting postponed and they have no localized way to solve the problem. You shouldn't have to buy Best Buy's warranty to get service for a product that it is still under manufacturers' warranty.

    After a week of use, the remote does not work. I have to unplug it in to turn it off and on. I bought it specifically for the smart capabilities. The app that is supposed to allow you to mirror from your smart phone works sometimes and takes 2-3 attempts to connect. I have a Galaxy S7 so it's not like it's an old phone. Just tonight, now my Netflix won't connect. I will be checking on how to return this piece of junk.

    Screws don't fit stand

    waited all day for TV to arrive. was ready to attach the stand and the screws don't fit. how about that. screws fit mounting hardware. Call Best Buy and basically was referred to manufacturer, Sony. Imagine that. Couldn't even tell me what size screw I needed in case I wanted to run to Home Depot to get them. Unreal. I knew there was a reason I didn't like Best Buy. Never buy from them again.

    A fancy Netflix streamer

    I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of apps available on this "smart" TV. No way obtain more apps, so I just bought this expensive machine simply to stream Netflix and Netflix only. It will be going back.

    No picture!

    All was great for the first 6 weeks until the picture started fading and then went completely out. After applying the recommendations from Sony's website for support, switching out the hdmi cables, and several attempted factory resets, there is still no picture and when one appears, it immediately fades after a few seconds. Sony's telephone tech support could not help me and soon just gave up on helping without any resolution although it is still under warranty. The geek squad tech told us sony used make great tvs, but has not kept up with technology when he came to set it up. We'll listen to him for our next tv and not go with sony again.

    DONT buy this t.v. My sony broke in 102 DAYS. Sont wants to send me a refurbished unit, which I will not accept...why take a used t.v. when mine broke being a little bit over 3 months old....its been about 10 days and I still cannot talk to anybody from sony who is in the usa.. only call center agents 10,000 miles away

    Atrocious

    TV had a blemish on the screen (dark shadow), I exchanged this for a refurbished TV, this TV kept turning off, this was then replaced with a TV that again had a bad blemish, this was exchanged for another TV, this arrived shattered. I am awaiting yet ANOTHER replacement (this will be the 5th Sony TV since July 2016. Sony just keep sending junk TVs. I waited a refund instead of receiving more of the same, however this would require me waiting for 6-8 weeks for a refund, thus Sony are effectively punishing me for buying lemon TVs. I have had a Sony TV from 12 years ago that has functioned brilliantly, and this is why I bought this TV. Alas, Sony is not the brand it used to be. I will never buy Sony products again, their customer support is atrocious and I am extremely unhappy with Sony. Lesson learned.

    The tv was GREAT while it worked. within 24 months of normal usage about 3 hours per day.. suddenly it stopped working and got 6 red blinking lights...i cannot believe this !! i have had samsung and panasonic for years and they are STILL WORKING fine...this sony is the newest one and the worst one and now it's NOT working...Sony what is happening and why? Not a happy customer and will never EVER buy sony again. I am going to report this issue with my local consumer affairs department and better business bureau..
