It's so easy to work and the set-up was so simple. I love it and my grand-kids love it also since they can see there favorites shows on Netflix

Black levels suffer; I had a Samsung LN46A550 prior, which had much deeper blacks. Default color saturation was lacking, but I fiddled with the settings and got colors to a satisfactorily vivid state. I reduced the backlight to 4, then 2. Still, luminosity of blank areas of the screen vary wildly depending on what is displayed in the non-blank areas. These are things I never noticed on my old-as-the-hills Samsung, but that I do notice on this Sony. Beyond my gripes with black levels, this TV performs well. Both sports & movies look good. Haven't played any games on it. Certainly you can buy a better looking TV, but this TV is competative given its price.

Couldn't get a 50" for the price range I was willing to invest and they all were 3D etc., etc. I already have a 40" in a Sony Bravia, and wanted a bigger one for my living room, but not too big, so I wouldn't have to worry about any loss of quality and would work seamlessly with my Sony Amp/Receiver. I love the thin frame around the screen. Picture and sound is great. No complaints. The fact that this one is a smart tv is a great plus!!

The clarity of the picture and the added features are superb. With one of us having very poor eyesight, the larger screen has been most helpful.

Very pleased with this tv, we have it in our master bedroom and the quality of the picture is top notch in my opinion. Set up was easy as well.

I bought this TV for my skids bedroom. It is lightweight , the picture is great and a perfect fit for their room. I highly recommend this TV

I had two criteria, wanted a smart TV, and wanted it to double as a computer monitor. In this size it's hard to get both. After trying and returning an LG I decided to give Sony a go in spite of the fact everyone says Samsung is the one to get. Very happy I did cause I also have some Samsungs and this one works better as a computer monitor. Everything else is just as good as the Samsung except maybe that it doesn't have the Samsung apps which link your TV to your phone, Haven't really tested to see if there's a way to do that with Sony.

Very happy with the picture. The set was easy to set up and it is easy to navigate between all feeds. Currently using netflix, hulu, and cable.

Going from a 52" RCA projection tv we purchased a 55 inch LG tv thinking it would be better. Bigger is not always better as we found out. We decided to return the LG, sound was horrible, and when we did we looked for another of smaller size. We decided on a 48" Sony Bravia which was an excellent choice on our part with thanks to the sales rep who helped by narrowing down our preferences. The Sony Bravia has excellent sound, speakers face toward the front, and a crisp clear picture. Sony lives up to it's quality and it was worth every penny.

This Sony tv is great for the price because it comes loaded with nice features. However, some of the features could've been developed a little better. I say this because although it comes with popular apps such as pandora, youtube, and Netflix, it is still bogged down with junk apps. The music and movie stores aren't very well put together but are there if needed. Also startup time is on the slower side, but overall a great tv for the price tag. Can't beat it.

I would purchase this again. Very nice quality. In trying to find a TV I wanted to get the right size with the best picture. I think I got that. I will be buying another Bravia again.

The picture is excellent and we love the Smart TV with all its capabilities. This is by far one of the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen.

This was my 1st smart TV and I really enjoyed the fact it was so easy to set up and use. Picture is clear, decent sound, and user friendly.

Television is very light and easy to work with, no issue with connecting to internet, remote is very functional, picture quality is very good, interacts with all the Sony sites quite easily

This TV is amazing. I have it on my bedroom. It's a little big for a bedroom but the picture is clear. I also have my ps4 plugged in.

The picture on this TV is super clear and is big enough to not feel outdated. The smart TV apps work great and we havent had any issues.

Last TV bought was twelve years ago. Went from projection TV to this new TV. Great product and great Best Buy employees that assisted me. Love the apps, picture quality and ease of use!
