Bought this for our bedroom. We are pleased with the resolution of the picture (1080) especially at this size and price point. Also, because it is a Sony the sound is much better than I expected for a tv this size with the small size speakers that come on flat screens these days. It's a great choice for a bedroom TV.

I purchased this tv for a work out room. Picture, sound and features are great.

It was a double whammy for me! Shopping at the best store and my favorite brand, SONY. The 48 inch SONY television is sharp! When first married 40 years ago, we purchased a 17 inch SONY. More recently, a 52 inch SONY and now for another room, the 48 inch. Thank you Best Buy! The same day, purchased a new laptop too.

The TV's image is great. The darks are dark, and the colors are vibrant. It really makes movies like Star Trek into Darkness very enjoyable to watch. The only complaint that gives it 4 stars instead of 5 is the processor is a little slow. This results in slower response time when you initially turn the TV on.

We have this same TV in a 60 inch in the living room and a 55 inch in the bedroom. I decided that I needed a Sony in the sunroom, as the Toshiba just didn't measure up to the Sony in any way. And with the price being so reasonable, I didn't feel guilty about switching out a TV that was less than two years old.

Thus was not my first choice when I walked in the door. But after having some good points explained to me, In started to like the TV. When they showed me how to customize the picture I was sold. I Recommend this TV, then take time to learn all the bells and whistles. It's amazing what this thing will do.

Bought this tv for my grandma. She loves it. She uses the mute feataure a lot on her tvs and her previous tv kept the mute on and in the middle of the Closed Caption this one does not. Over all decent picture. Not sure about the wireless capabilities because my grandma's internet is too slow to update the tv.

I have purchased exclusively Sony TVs all of my life and have never had one problem. This current TV is no exception - the best overall picture and sound at this price point. Just for added piece of mind, I always also purchase Best Buy Geek Squad protection with every TV - but I have yet to use it.

We were looking for a replacement television and this Sony 48" LCD. It has terrific sound and picture clarity! An added bonus is the remote contains all the buttons to operate a dvd player and other programs such as Netflix, Youtube, etc.

Great smart tv, good picture and sound. Just need to hook it up to my surround sound system. I like the fact that the set is energy star rated. I have noticed that it does not get as hot as my old set. Great new addition to my living room.

Freaking love this TVI was looking to spend about $500, this TV seem to be the best one. My son is a big gamer and he loves it for video games. My girlfriend and I love it for watching shows, the picture is very clear and beautiful.

This TV has the best picture quality, and the most ussful smart features of any tv that I own. Compared to my 55" smart Vizio and 32" smart Vizio the menu and amount of apps on this tv is 10 times better. I will definetly be replacing my 55" with a Sony 55" when the time comes. I could not be happier with this tv.

This is a good TV. Good picture and good features. The remote keys are pretty close together, so easy to make a mistake. Sound quality could be better, as with most TV's. I like it better than my Samsung which died after three years.

Large but not overly so so fits into normal sized room without overpowering everything else. Sharp, clear definition. Smart aspects enhance ability to find what I want to watch when I want to watch it. Great deal (pricewise)
