This TV was purchased as a replacement for a dead 2002 era TV. It was recommended by Consumer Reports, and it has lived up to our expectations. Great visual quality, easy setup, a multitude of connection options (though we did have to get a component switch box to use with our older devices).

My head was spinning with info on so many versions of the same type of TV. Someone suggested Vizio had the best value, but then I looked at it in comparison to a Sony. The Sony colors seemed more real to me, if that makes sense. I ended up getting a higher speed modem to get the streaming quality to mesh with the quality of the TV. Very pleased with it overall.

This screen fits into tight spots really well. The color and picture quality is good. I have 3 Samsung 55" screens through out the house and this is no Samsung! It is a good value for the dollar. However, to maximize your listening enjoyment you will need to broadcast your sound through your systems center channel speakers as the Sony speakers are under powered.

Hi, this SONY has a wonderful picture- I have zero complaints about that. Now Sony, if you read these, my complaint is that I use an antenna for Over The Air (free) TV, and the tuner is miserable compared to my 2008 Sony TV. The 2008 Sony receives 17 stations, my 2016 Sony TV received 3. I had to add an antenna amplifier to get the 17 stations back. So do I have a bad tuner, or are all your newer TV's produced with a less sensitive tuner? Again, didn't even have to adjust the picture, it is great. I like all the available connections - even has a headphone jack, which many TV sets do not have, but this does, so you can add a Bluetooth transmitter for late night or better listening. Audio, no matter how long I play with it, I could not get a good sound that produced voices clearly, so I had to add a sound bar with an optical cable, and that works pretty decent. Be warned, if you buy an Insignia sound bar, it is taller than the Sony TV stand, so it blocks the Sony remote sensor, so you need to jack-up the Sony TV higher so that the remote works. There is a slight lag from the time you push the buttons on the remote until the TV does its thing, and that never happened with the 2008 Sony, but you have to 'wait' for this one to catch-up. When you scan for channels, make sure you go to settings and select 'digital TV' first, or you will get nothing. The Smart TV is okay, it works, but you have to pay for about everything- didn't have any problems with the Smart TV part at all. If you have a Sony BluRay player, and you turn the Sony BluRay on, it automatically switches the TV input to the BluRay and back off again to TV automatically! Lots of HDMI inputs, a combination Composite / Component input, one USB port, one Digital Optical output for your soundbar or Home Theater Amp if you have one, plus the bonus headphone jack that you can set 3 different ways for its use. Build quality seems okay, so far so good after one month. I love the picture on this Sony compared to the picture on 4 other brands that I looked at. Great picture, just the few picky things I listed, but I would probably buy one again, especially if you can get it for under $400.

I did some initial review and ended up with this after comparing it with a Samsung. Then it came down to this being a Sony. Fairly easy to set up and the sound is surprisingly good. Enough to fill my small living room.

I purchased this Sony TV with the help from one of the associates and he told me that he had one the that was called and "open box" meaning it was open but nothing wrong with the TV. I got it for a small reduced price. TV has excellent picture and sound. My family loves it and so do I.

This TV was so simple and easy to set up. It has a beautiful picture and great sound quality. The apps available are extensive but the only negative is I wish the Flixster app available allowed you to login to your saved movies and had the capability for you to watch your movies like the Flixster app on your mobile devices do. But otherwise great product.

Great Sony TV. Easy set up and great picture. It will set up in a smaller area than most tv's because of the smaller base. I had to research this base to fit on a small bookshelf.

The colors are very crisp and bright. Picture quality is great

I already have a Sony Bravia 32". This one has the "smart" feature which is great. The best feature is the "Picture and Picture / Picture in Picture". This allows viewing Input 1 and input 2 at the same time with adjustable image sizes. I wish I could use the P&P feature with Netflix.

We needed to find a smart HDTV to fit within very specific dimensions. This Sony was the perfect size, the picture quality is great and installation and setup was a breeze. Definitely recommend within this price point.

Needed a new set for the living room after moving my 40" Bravia to the bedroom. Was concerned about the refresh rate, 60, but after a weekend of football completely dispelled. Instant "on" and station switching speed are added bonuses. Can't go wrong with Bravia, though smart features are a little difficult to navigate. (But maybe that's just me.)

This is by far the nicest TV I have ever owned. The picture sharpness, color, brightness, etc. are outstanding once we set it up for our house. The sound system, however, must be augmented by a sound system/surround sound system since the TV has a very low tech speaker.

This tv was very easy to set up and tune to cable. The best feature (in my opinion) is the easy to navigate toolbar. I am still learning about all of the features; I dint know how to take it out of the zoom view though. We love it- the next step is to mount it to a display.

The tv is pretty good. I have a large room for it and I did notice that it's hard to see the picture from the side. The way it was displayed in the store, I couldn't really check that out. Am disappointed in that. I've had Sony tv's in the past and am never unhappy with them. This is my first smart tv and am enjoying the capabilities of that.

This TV is packed with features and extremely easy to set up. It took me less than 30 minutes to set up everything on the TV and everything works well. I'm very pleased with this TV and would recommend it to anyone.

We have always had very good luck with Sony Televisions and this is now our second Bravo TV. My parents are retired and all they do is watch TV so the first Sony Bravo provided excellent quality over many years of excessive usage. This prompted us to buy Sony Bravo again

This TV has been nothing short of perfect when it comes down to what I wanted. For the size apt I live in, a 48" TV is perfect, and the quality of this TV is great! Wouldn't recommend another 1080p, 120hz, 48" TV.
