Great TV! Software takes time to respond
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tv, the colors are great, the only thing I noticed that it takes time to power on, the software could be smoother and faster, but it has been performing well for a month now so no real complains here.

Great TV! Offers everything I was looking for.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV gives you just about all the options you need for today's entertainment needs. Great picture, sound quality is good, and the format for accessing apps is simple to use. Only thing I have noticed is that upon turning this unit on I must wait a few seconds before I can use the remote. Not sure if this is a for all units or just mine.

Posted .Hello Fizz! Thank you for your message, it is normal to experience a delay of up to 30 seconds to see a picture or hear sound when first turned on, which will not detect a remote command until it finishes acquiring the content.~Jeannette

All I expected.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a 1080 to replace my old 720 set. After a visual comparison of the pictures, I chose this Sony. The price was comparable and the picture very good. I've been very happy with it and as a bonus, it integrates perfectly with my Sony blue-ray player.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent TV with a great price. I bought it for gaming and I have no complaints, it's colors are fantastic and have yet to see any blurring with fast movements.

Sony TV's are top notch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd Sony Bravia purchase. Along with Samsung and maybe even LG, Sony is one of the best TV makers in the world. They rarely ever have problems and they work as intended. Their products are long lasting due to the bulletproof Japanese build quality. I highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for one. The colors are vibrant and the sound is crisp. It is a smart tv as well with plenty of built-in apps and downloadable ones too so your TV set can be used for more than just television watching entertainment. It has an easy to use UI and navigating menus are smooth and swift.

Excellent Picture Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SONY has been my favorite brand based on performance. This choice is no cexeption. I am not a high tech savvy, so to revel and set various features, I had to seek help. Though I am OK with basic functions, I have yet to learn many features. The most important feature of any TV is its picture quality, which is what I am getting.

Smart TV Functions are not ready for prime time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Bravia as a replacement for an older plasma TV with a Roku attached. As a television, it works pretty well. The picture is sharp, viewing angles are decent and there's not too much blurring when the action is fast (I watch a lot of sports.) As a Smart TV, it's pretty bad--worse than a low-end Roku in every respect. My Bravia is connected to wifi via a brand new Raptor which sits behind the wall on which the TV is mounted--maybe 3 feet away. The TV routinely loses contact with the wireless network, requiring a tedious process: setting up the wireless (as if it were new), then refreshing the internet content. I find I have to do this once a day or so. When the connection works, applications are slow. Pandora takes about a minute to load, much of that staring at a black, blank screen wondering, "Did it crash?" Trying to surf YouTube videos is also slow--even typing on the soft keyboard lags. I haven't yet tried all the features--those requiring a login to Sony's website were buggy and glitchy. The built-in media player is extremely basic (and the documentation in the on-line manual is worthless.) I've heard Samsung has better performance for smart features. Wishing I'd gone that route.

Nice sized TV for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture is very good. Has 4 HDMI connections which I required. Sound lacking tonal quality but adequate for bedroom use. Smart TV so system updates automatic. Very light compared to my older Bravia LCD set.

Good size tv for good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I felt great that we didn't have to break the bank to get a real good smart tv. It's worked real good. Only downside is the speakers are on the back, which means you have to really crank the volume on movies or shows that don't have great volume. Other than that, really enjoy watching my hockey games on there.

Good TV in general with some serious annoyances
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this TV for a couple of weeks and I am happy with it in general. It was delivered on time and they recycled my old model Sony TV. The image is good, but viewing angles are very limited. You have to be right in front of the TV otherwise the image is washed-out. I was surprised how easy it was to setup wifi. I think it took me less than 3 minutes. The annoying thing is that the TV does not keep the setup. I am constantly having to go over and over the setup process, having to login each time. This wasn't a big deal in the beginning, but now I am getting really annoyed. That's why I lowered my rating to 3 stars. There are lots of apps to choose from, but the user interface is slow and confusing. The home page shows two sets of apps. "Featured" and "My apps". You cannot change the Featured one. You can add apps to "My apps" from a list. One of the apps in the list is Opera store, which lists some of the apps in the previous list and some others. There is an option to add any of these apps to "My apps", but when you do so, you realize that it is not the same "My apps" on the home page. It is a completely separate one that you can only access after opening the "Opera Store" app. Arghhh Opera, the web browser, is awfully slow and navigating using the remote is a total pain. When it finally finishes opening the web page, it says the content is too large and it is going to close. I gave up using it altogether. So, no, this TV does not have a web browser. I wish you could install apps from Google Play store. They have an HBO Now app, which is not available in the Opera store. I am recommending it to a friend because there a are only two options to select: Yes or No. If they offered a "Kind of" option I would select that.

Perfect picture, great sound, excellent value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this tv out because of the excellent picture and sound quality. It is much better than many tv's that are much more expensive, and far superior to most. I went in with a dollar amount in mind to spend and this tv more than fit what I wanted.
