I've owned a Sony before so decided to upgrade to a smart TV of the same brand. The quality of the picture is great but speakers are average and I use external speakers to get better sound quality. The android apps are a big disappointment especially netflix. The app forces me to input my password intermittently and occasionally stops working altogether. Tried getting help from Netflix CS who say they know about the issue but no resolution so far. I'm now thinking of getting an external media player like roku. It doesn't make sense to pay premium for a smart TV and then pay some more because it doesn't work as expected. I took off 2 stars simply because of my poor experience with the netflix app.

Great television for the price, wish it was marked down some more but still went with this Sony TV over a 50 inch panasonic. The TV is very light and easy to set up, it is a very advanced smart TV. Everything from picture to sound is great and easy to use.

I wanted a bigger Flat screen for our bedroom and bought the "48 Bravia to replace a 40" Sony. The screen area is huge compared to the smaller model and the picture is much better! Very clear and great contrast. Turns on instantly so I am very pleased!

My Sonia Bravia replaced a dinosaur Sony old school tv, which, by the way, wouldn't die on its own. I did my research online and in the store. The Sony Bravia is awesome. It was easy to set up and the picture is super crisp and the sound is good.

When we were looking for a complementary bedroom HDTV, we could not have chosen a better value. This Sony is loaded with options for the price point. Great picture and sound, you can't go wrong here.

updated my Sony Bravia to a newer version and so easy! lighter, better picture, if that's possible. Easy purchase, pickup and install. took less that 24 hours from online search to pick up. Searched at Midnight and got best online help from Best Buy

I really like the TV in terms of visual quality, profile, and overall ease of use. The audio however is a bit lacking, so I'm thinking of getting a sound bar to supplement. Overall a good deal for the price

I really love my new TV.... Everyone who sees it says the picture is so clear and I think so too. I am not real technology savvy, but am learning to make my way around. The help menu is great.

The TV from Sony has been great so far! Good picture, great quality and good price. The stand seems a little flimsy but the TV is so light it holds it up fine. It is a little slow on startup to change input modes, which I thought wasn't a big deal for me reading other reviews, but it definitely matters if you ever switch between video games, Blu ray players or other devices. Overall it was a good price and so far a good quality tv. disclaimer - only had the tv for about a month now.

Got this as an open box. For almost 50% off this is absolutely amazing. I would recommend grabbing it if you can. Great tv for $600 and even better for $361 open box price. I'll most likely buy a sony again because I am quite impressed with this tv.

Went to Best Buy store with the idea of buying a different brand but after talking with my sales associate we decided to go with The Sony Bravia 48 inch. He was very helpful in pointing out differences in the two sets. So far we are very pleased.

Wanted good product to replace old 32" model in living room area. Did not want to go overboard on size or features as we have a 65" 4K Samsung system with blue ray player and Sonos system in our home theater room. Picture quality and performance from this 48" Sony fits that goal. Good purchase for reasonable price.

Good Picture and fits into my AV system well. Purchased as a replacement for a 32" Bravia that went bad (vertical lines) after eight years. Only problem is the location of the composite inputs when wall mounted are difficult to access. Internet apps do not run as smoothly as on the Sony Blu-ray player either.

I had several flat screen TVs but this was my first smart and 1080. Love how easy to connect to internet. Crystal clear picture love watching HD on it. I liked it so much got my boss to buy one and now I'm going to get the 40 inch for my bedroom.

Ok- we are coming from a TV smaller than a breadbox but I have to say we are really impressed. Great picture and sound- no need for a sound bar. We even hooked up our DVD player AND VCR :)

Took me 4 months to pick out a new TV, even as an employee! Excellent for gaming and movies. The picture quality beats out the competitors and you wouldn't be wrong in picking this TV.

I upgraded from a 46" LCD Sony Bravia TV to this, absolutely amazing! I only buy Sony products, and there's a reason for that - great products that always exceed my expectations, and if there ever is an issue, I get great customer support with them!

Beautiful, sharp picture right out of the box. Full featured as expected from a premium smart TV. Streams video flawlessly via Wi-Fi. An excellent, "real " name brand product for the price...

We purchased this TV to replace a smaller one in our bedroom, for the last few years we have relied on Sony TV products, we have a more expensive 65" 4K Sony in our living room, the clarity, colors and sharpness of this 48" TV are fantastic.

I bought this on sale and couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. Picture quality is very good with nice realistic colors and the connectivity to other devices and apps are seamless.
