We bought this particular model because it was the right size, and on sale. It is Sony, which is a brand we trust. So far, we really enjoy it. We ditched satelite and are just using Netflix and the antenna, and are very happy - although our internet is slow - but that has nothing to do with the TV. So far - over a month in - we're pleasantly surprised.

After being disappointed with several brands of HD TV's I have returned to Sony. I have total confidence in Sony products. This one has a terrific picture, I enjoy the smart TV aspect as well. Highly recommend and Sony TV.

Not sure where the new technology is going or if the TV stations will pick it up, but so many great 1080P LED TVs out there makes me wonder why I would ever wait. Everything about this unit works for the price you have to pay. I don't have it plugged into surround sound so not sure how it would drive a speaker system, but fills up the apartment just fine.

I have held out on the whole smart TV craze. Opting instead for an Apple TV, Roku and PS 3 on my "dumb" TVs. I felt like the User Interface in most cases was a bit clunky. This Sony is an exception. Very easy to access and use. The Netflix button on the remote is a big plus too. This TV also includes the new Playstation service, though I am yet to use it. Also, the picture on this is great. Very crisp. My main TV is a several year old Pioneer Plasma. It just doesn't get much better than that in my opinion. But without going the 4K route, I think this is as good as I have seen, picture wise in a 1080p LED. I got this as an open box item so ended up paying about $480. It's a steal at that price point. I would still recommend at the $600 original price though. My next purchase will be a Sony sound bar to go with it.

I just love this television! The picture is fantastic, the color is natural, and the smoothness between frames is incredible. It was easy to install and since I got a sony sound bar and sony dvd/blu ray, I only need the one remote! Heaven.

Good for movies and games, I prefer my Samsung for sports though
