    My last CD player "ate" my CD so I bought this one as a replacement. It is very easy to operate, function labels are visible for people with dimming vision, has lots of functions, compatible hookup to my old record player through the line-in function, and decent sound resolution. And I don't expect to lose another CD to malfunction.

    I bought this for my wife and did not buy the extended warranty. After a few days the CD's would stop playing, and we thought the CD's were bad. Then the whole unit died-nothing worked. Took it back within the 14 day return policy and got another one and then decided to buy the extended warranty for $15. So far, so good. I would have given 5 stars if the first one hadn't died.
