    Only negative issue I have with this Sony Boombox is it does not play CD’s that only contain .mp3 recorded music. This was a Christmas Present for my wife who has an extensive collection of .mp3 music. Everything else works just fine.

    I bought this as a christmas gift for my mother, she loves it and the fact that is can be plugged in or battery operated is great when the power is out! I plan to get one for myself soon!

    I purchased this on sale for about $70. At that price it is not a bad machine. At the full price I don’t think I would spend the money. However it depends on how much you want one of these this one is a better quality than most of the others I looked at with more features.

    If you are looking for a boombox that is well rounded with multiple input connections but is okay on sound quality, then this boombox is for you. However, the sound quality was not up to the Sony quality that I am used to so that is why I gave it a 4 star rating. The sound could be better.

    It is an excellent table top stereo. It plays MP3 CD formats, USB, and regular radio, CD. The only problem, no remote control. Also, there is no "random" button (to play music in a random order).
