Perfect for at work. Good reception even with a metal roof’

It arrived today. I let it warm up to room temperature before plugging it in and powering on. Immediately I know I am in trouble with this product. It does not change modes very quickly. The whole experience is one of latency. Press the power button and wait. Press the Tuner button and wait. Press the CD button and wait. As others have noted, the CD player does not work. CDs do not spin. What a disappointment and waste of an afternoon this was! Do not buy this product. You will regret it. My only satisfaction came from the fact that it failed straight away.

The Sony cd boombox works very well. The radio has good reception, but I wish it had a bit more bass.

I bought this for my 91 year old Dad. It does what it needs to do without any complicated directions.

Much lighter than I expected with batteries installed. The sound quality is very good even at high volume. There is enough bass to make rock music come alive.

The boombox was a surprise that it was so good. I didn't expect that at first. However it exceeded my expectations. Great Music and CD player. Thanks.

Bought this item for my mother in law, since the newer versions of boomboxes come with too many features. This was perfect straight to the point.

I am sorely disappointed in this Sony CD Boombox that I bought from the Best Buy Braintree, MA store in July 2020 on my Best Buy Credit Card. It worked fine for a couple of months or so, but now it won't read my CDs! I followed all the instructions in the manual, but that did not fix the problem. I thought that I was upgrading to a quality Sony product, but I guess not. I am a senior citizen, and I guess I'll have to run around to package this up and send it back somewhere for repair. All the while, I won't be able to listen to my music.
