Radio sound marginal.

This boombox is the perfect size but it's replacing a very OLD and very large one at the summer cabin, and the sound isn't even comparable to the old device. The radio quality on the 25+ year old Sony is markedly better. I have hand dexterity problems and also find the CD harder to load than I'd hoped. I'll get used to it but if you are really looking for good sound and ease of inserting and removing CDs, you might not be thrilled with this model. All this said, I replaced my oldie because it's huge and although the radio is awesome, it destroyed a CD as well as cassette tape so change was in the wind.
