I bought this for Christmas and we love it. Has great sound and works flawlessly with bluetooth. Sony always has good products that exceed expectations.

I needed a new CD player. My old Sony boombox which can play cassettes as well finally broke after 20 years of usage. I chose Sony because I trusted the brand and loved my old one. I don't love this new one but it functions in that it plays my CDs. I find the design too minimal and too black. I did not even realize that there is a handle one can lift it with because it was tucked so invisibly away at the top. I have to squint to see the small flat buttons. The sound is about the same as the old. The buttons are more confusing for me and I can't figure out what they all do but I haven't tried too hard because I am not using it for the radio or anything else. But then I may be an exception because buttons on gadgets and tech items are always perplexing to me. I also referred to the user's guide which helped somewhat. I haven't learn how to use the radio yet. The lesson for me is that I should have gone to Best Buy to check out the displays of other brands at the store in person but Covid prevented this. So this boombox works fine and meets my needs and I hope will last awhile.

Great sound with good bass and good volume, can play from CD, USB, Radio, or Aux, and can transfer music from a CD to a USB flash drive. Also has Bluetooth input so music from one's smart phone can be played but lacks Bluetooth output capability. The repeat mode can be used both for CD play and for USB play. Music cannot be transferred to USB from the radio, from the Bluetooth input, or from the Aux input.

Excellent sound and megabass is the finishing touch.

Great for camping, yard work. However, I purchased for use in kitchen when doing things men should not be doing. I normally use Bose speakers in another room and when compared not even close.

This is a overall a terriffic boombox. Great sound & easy to work. I gave a 3 out of 5 b/c this cd player worked w/ my iPhone x. It frustrates me that it won't pair w/ my iPhone 12 pro!

I have owned this Boombox for two years and it has been very very reliable and nothing short of amazing. Sony has been in the business for a long time and this product definitely represents the best that Sony has to offer.

I received no invoice on purchase also an additional $5.00 charge that I didn’t expect, plus the antennae material is so flimsy that it broke off.

This boom box is excellent except for one thing there is no remote why? I have to walk to the boombox to skip tracks on a cd I want to hear or turn the volume up or down not cool, technology should make your life easer not harder!!! thanks for letting me review your product.sharkhead24 out

Bought a boombox and it had problems. Sent it back to Sony and they kept it for a month and then called and said it couldn't be repaired. They said they'd give me a certificate for what I'd spent (I included my receipt) to buy stuff from their on-line store. They NEVER sent me the certificate. So a month later, I called back and they said they'd take care of it. I still have never received a certificate. In my research, I found an unofficial website for consumer affairs that people have posted horror stories on that rates Sony a 1 out of 5 just like I have here. DO NOT BUY SONY!
