Very good tone quality and plays CDs flawlessly. It arrivd a couple days after ordering. Very pleased with my purchase.

Besides the many different inputs this stereo has, it has great sound. It manages to have roomy, great sound at low volumes and at high volumes. I think this is a perfect dorm room, bedroom stereo.

The radio doesn't work in my apartment. I get a lot of static but that's about all.

I bought this on sale Black Friday I couldn't believe that other ppl were not scooping these up. Many functions and sound is amazing. Love it

I can't believe this has so many positive reviews. This thing sounds worse than an old Sony clock radio that I bought in the 80's. The "Mega Bass" function is a joke that provides little bass boost. I thought that since the latest Sony Bluetooth speakers sound so good, this would too. Boy was I wrong. I guess it's possible that I just got a bad one, but I wouldn't assume that either I had to return this. Definitely not worth the money.

I've owned many boom boxes in my life and this has to be the worst one I've ever owned. Sound is satisfactory for this class but that would be about the only thing. The controls/buttons are exceptional small and the display is extremely difficult to see and I have 20/15 vision. I was attempting to achieve continuous playback and the CD has to be playing and then you have to stop/pause it to attempt to achieve this. After the CD plays through twice the music stops and the machine powers OFF. Overall, too much of a hassle to operate. One of the bigger mistakes I've made in my life.

This radio had a nice smooth sound. Very nice to listen to.

I just took Sony Boombox out of box & started using it. It seems very nice. I do like the features ie; USB drive, CD, AM/FM.

I used to have a Sony radio with cd player from 10 years ago that worked great, with excellent reception to the radio and very clean sound. The CD player broke down a while ago and I wanted to relace the whole setup with this new model, in the same price range. The sound is mediocre and the antenna really cheap, basically you can't distinguish it from a 35 dollar item. It can not compare to the quality from 10 years ago, I'm disappointed.

Received this as a gift 3 years ago…I use it very seldom but it has always been great….UNTIL it stopped working. Period. Would not turn on! Maybe 50 hours of use total! Cannot believe my poor experience with Sony. And of course it’s out of warranty. Unhappy and angry.

The unit can do or play in most any mode AM-FM, CD, Bluetooth, etc. However the speakers are small and the quality of the sound is not up to par for Sony. No remote either, but all in all not bad for a $100 boombox.

This is a great multiplayer boom box. I love the option to transfer music/data to a thumb drive!

Good overall! Except CD do not have auto repeat features, so after CD finshed, needs to restart manually, for the office, not so practical.

One of the speakers works fine, the other has static type noise. If it was made with a balance switch that would have been at least somewhat helpful, but they offered no such option. So I am going to try to open the thing up and disconnect the bad speaker.

I bought this on sale instead of getting a Wonderboom. Seems well-made and sturdy. It connects easily and reliably with Bluetooth. Sound quality is decent, but lacking in power, especially for something that plugs into the wall. The "Mega Bass" button produces barely adequate bass. My biggest gripe is the nearly useless USB port, which exists only for plugging in a thumb drive. It cannot charge any phone, even older ones. For $100, it falls short of what it should be.

I read great reviews for this unit, so although it wasn't on display at my store for me to test, I bought it. Mostly because I liked being able to hook in with the 3.5 input and the USB input, as well as having my standard CD and FM. However after 10 minutes out of the box, I have decided to return it. The sound is unacceptable. The megabass is a joke, and without it, the unit sounds like an old transistor radio. Also, the FM reception on all the stations I normally pick up clearly was horrible. For $99 I expected a whole lot more from this unit. It's going back in the morning.

Like the product but have not determined how to use the USB port to play music.

My son really love this boombox! It was smaller than I expected it to be but it works fairly, they really don't make them the way they used to. I got it at an awesome price.

Poor reception, terrible buttons that you have to mash on to get them to work, Sony missed it on this one, would not recommend. Paper weight is excellent.
