This one fit the bill and considering the small size, the sound though not great is good for background listening.

Great CD Boombox for portable use

The quality sound system makes the music flow. I can even plug in my Ipod Nano which is an older style. It is perfect for those of us that still have a collection of older CDs.

The unit has great sound and is easy to set up the preset buttons. My wife & I both have used it and have only praise for the way it filled our needs.

I have purchased much less expensive models before and they have proved unreliable after a time of use, and I certainly hope that by buying a more expensive one that it will prove reliable for a long time
