This one fit the bill and considering the small size, the sound though not great is good for background listening.

Price was about 33% off MSRP (I think you'd have to look high and low to find a retailer selling at MSRP).

I have had others that the volume would not work well, but this one does and the sound coming from it is actually just as good as our Bose and cheaper.

Great CD Boombox for portable use

The quality sound system makes the music flow. I can even plug in my Ipod Nano which is an older style. It is perfect for those of us that still have a collection of older CDs.

The unit has great sound and is easy to set up the preset buttons. My wife & I both have used it and have only praise for the way it filled our needs.
