Sound quality horrible

The sound quality is horrible, very tinny sounding/lots of distortion when you play any type of music. Before returning I went online and read reviews and they said the same thing . . . . . if you're just listening to talk radio and books on tapes it is ok, if you want to listen to music . . . . . FORGET ABOUT IT!
