Good sounding Boombox

Have listen to FM stations on the device and sound is excellent. Have not tried cd's yet (why I gave it 4 stars). Read instructions - tried listening to music via battery power. Important to disconnect the power plug completely from unit otherwise battery power does not work.

Great jam box and CD player.

A little large. present for a family member that listens to AM stations and shows. Antenna was unable to pick up AM in office space as we were hoping for this family member. Overall quality as a SOny product is good

Great for what I want.

Not the best for music, but you need an actual system to get better. The mega bass feature is actually great. I don't know about the radio because I have no use for it. I bought it for listening to audio books and it is fantastic for that. Music is very good for a portable. While the cord can be disconnected, it is not loose at all. Stays in player-no problem. Sony comes through again.
