This had the best overall reviews and while expensive, it works very well. Not the best for music, but you need an actual system to get better. The mega bass feature is actually great. I don't know about the radio because I have no use for it. I bought it for listening to audio books and it is fantastic for that. Music is very good for a portable. While the cord can be disconnected, it is not loose at all. Stays in player-no problem. Sony comes through again.

The Sony CD Boombox is just what I was looking for. It sounds great and I can even record songs onto a flash drive to play in my car. Love it!

The Sony Boombox is easy to operate, music is clear, and it has good volume.

Good enough sound quality for a small unit, but sound quality is not as good as in the unit it replaced. Has three buttons on top to pre-set a given radio station, but one must also push the overall "on" button and only then select one of the three pre-set stations. I found this a bit awkward. I would like for it to immediately begin playing the last station I selected.

Needed this for group dancing in various places where no other music was available. Works well, good volume, simple to operate.

This unit does everything I need it to do! Very easy to use and has great bass for its size.

I have bought Sony. I moved to Raleigh in 1980. I have bought two Sony clock radios in that amount of time.

This boombox sounds great for its size. FM radio pulls in stations effortlessly and I really love the ability to record a CD to a USB drive.

This was donated to a music classroom. The bluetooth ability allows for the teacher to move around the classroom. Good sound quality!

I love this radio, gets a lot a stations, and has plenty of options, blue tooth, CD, USB, or the radio. I am never without my music.

It worked well. It did seem to go through the batteries rather quickly, but other than that it met my needs.

For such a small small cd player...the sound is terrific and is easy to use. I have read comments about the electrical cord, no problem with me.

My dad wanted something to listen to his old CDs especially the ones his cousins would send from Mexico which include not being original. Most CD players now a days don't play those. This is great because he can work it and it has a touch of new school with the Bluetooth feature. And my brother was able to connect it to his speakers in the garage. 2 thumbs up from me.
