Customer Ratings & Reviews

Has a great sound along with radio, CD player & others but really nice USB port for additional music. A great buy.

The young sales folk will laugh at you for wanting to buy this, given all the new technologies out there, but I wanted something to play music for a child without using a screen! This was pretty much my best option. He often needs calming music or some kind of talk radio in order to regulate, and this fit the bill.

An awesome sounding, compact and portable stereo system. We now have three of them!

This is an excellent radio/CD player for those who need quality sound but have a limited space for new equipment.

This Sony cd/radio combo has great sound and is compact, so it can be placed safely in a small space. Love it!

Outstanding product. Easy to use. Sounds great! My wife went out and bought two mor as gifts after we set it up.

This was a great gift for our grandchildren. The ability to play music from both cd's and flash drives was a big reason for this purchase. We can put music on the flash drives and not have to worry about cd's getting damaged. Easy enough for the young ones to figure out how to use. Also like the ability to transfer directly from cd to the flash drive. Sound quality is ok for this price point.

Boombox was bought for an elderly relative. It was easy to use, sound quality is decent.

Great Sound, doesn't sound like a cheap radio..very surprised. Easy to use.

Great sound. Easy to use. Sony is always a good choice.

Really great! So many features and good, clear speakers.

Has AM/FM, CD, Bluetooth, USB and audio in. Decent sound. Can record music to USB stick from CD,

Love love love this radio, it has recording ability and a really great sound. Nice and compact

Perfect size, big volume for such a small box. Love it!

Great sound and easy to use. Works with batteries or just plug it in your power outlet.

Good quality of sound, lightweight and takes up little space.

Good boombox. It has great sound. Really nice extra features. It will be used a lot!

While this CD player does the basics as far as sound, it really doesn’t replace the Bose radio/cd player I had. However, it is compact, the sound is adequate, and it was much more economical. I listen constantly and am very happy with this purchase.

Box fails to note has a cord clerk didn't know. thought it only used batteries. Went home, looked up the manual on Sony's site, it does have a cord. We really wanted to use it with electricity so we went back and bought it. It's a good radio.

I gave this "Boombox" to my wife as a Christmas gift, and this is only the 2nd week in January, so she has not had much time to get to know how it works. She has, however, used it every day, and is exceedingly pleased to be able to again hear the music she and her cousin recorded many years ago. As this item is a Sony, I expect she will be listening to it for many years to come. The sound quality is very good, and it does work quite well!
