Good sound in a portable package

Caution keep your receipt as it might not play some older CD's. I kept it as it plays what I own and I wanted a radio with good sound in the garage.

My son really likes it!

Unfortunately, it doesn't have a cassette player ( no need for a pencil lol), but at least it has cd, radio, Bluetooth, and USB. And it's SONY!

Combines the old and the new

One of the nicest features for me is a pause that will stay forever. I record podcasts on cd and when I need to pause it and come back later, it will stay paused for days. My old player would automatically shut of after some amount of time. 5 or 10 min. probably. Sound is not great, but for the size and price it is acceptable.

Good simple cd player

I would recommend it for children or the elderly, who may not need great fidelity. The simple controls are good for those who are technically challenged by too many options for playback. Bass tones are a bit weak.

Wanted a versatile way to play their CD's and use outdoors with batteries. Pleased with sound and other options on the boombox.
