We wanted to get a simple option for the kids that was actually a decent boombox, rather than some character themed item where you'd pay for the design more than the performance. This fit the bill, and is simple enough but also is a quality product.

I bought this as gift for a home bound friend who enjoys music to help him practice his music for his church choir. Easy setup out of the box for him, as a safety guard I purchased the extended two year warrenty. So far he is a happy camper with this player.

My husband wanted to be able to listen to baseball games while working out in the yard. This one has good reception - both AM and FM. He also wanted to be able to play CD's and this one does a decent job playing them.

I discovered my ancient Sony had quit and I had liked it so much there was no other brand I would consider. So this was my choice. It is a lot smaller than the old one since that also had a cassette player, which I no longer need. And the controls of the new one are more user friendly.

Love this small stereo! I bought it for my daughter and she loves it. I bought a second one for my gym and it works great. I use the Bluetooth to play songs from my phone! Would definitely by it again.

I am so please with the blue tooth and the scan disk on this. Love not having to replace CD all the time.

We found we had no working CD player and This jam box is great. We are recording our CDs to jump drives and the Bluetooth works well with our iPhone, the sound quality on this song is ok. I prefer the JBL Bluetooth we have.

We purchased the Sony CD Boombox since we still have some audio CDs we like to listen when we are away from home. The Sony CD Boombox filled the bill and also came with a radio. A little pricey at $100 but the device does as advertised.

This CD/MP3 player has been ideal for my shelf. Currently, I have a USB stick with 6 folders and 220 songs per folder. I rarely use the CD function, but it is good to have it.

Radio works well, locks in stations. Easy to connect my iPod and play my music. Speaker volume could be a little louder. My only disappointment is you can not charge a device and play it at the same time. So you have to plug in your charger separately.

This a great radio/cd player. I tried another brand which was poor quality. Returned it for exchange same brand. It didn't work at all, I've always had good experience with SONY products. Should have paid the difference at first as it would have saved me 56 miles round trip twice to return the Insignia ones,

This was a Christmas present for my 84-year-old mother. It has wonderful sound and is easy to use. Plus, the lightning speed delivery was a huge relief.

Wanted something relatively inexpensive to keep in a detached garage where I work on cars and accidents can happen. This fit the bill. Works great. Seems a little slow for transferring CDs (did about 60) to flash drive but not a deal breaker at this price.

We bought this for a relative with slight dementia and well, we had to return it because there are just too many buttons that have to be pushed to get it to work. She went from one that just hung on the wall and just required a tug on the cord to work, to having to push 3 different buttons to get this one to go. The sound isn't great, but we are music junkies around here and probably were expecting too much from a $100 sound box. Overall, if you're looking for something for a teenager or young child to use, this would be perfect. But if you're looking for something for a slight dementia patient, or for use in your daily life, you'll need to up the ante and get something better.

It’s been a nice addition to my work from home set up. I can have it on in the background and listen to radio or play CDs. Sound is good enough for my small room.

I bought this Cd player for my wife's sewing room. It works pretty well. I only had a minor problem with the first one I bought. But I returned it to the Best Buy and they cheerfully exchanged it.

I was looking for something to take outside or into my garage where I could play cds or connect an MP3 player. This works perfectly for what I need and is not too bag to move around.

My car's radio stopped. I plan to buy a new car so I bought this sony boom box to play while driving. Jitter is no problem. Sound is good. I have not tested recording yet, but look forward to keeping this boombox handy when it is retired from the car.
