Great sound but took it back because it did not have a remote. Purchased another brand for about $30 more than sounds equally as good but has a remote and a lighted dial.

This portable radio/CD player is very easy for my 72 year old husband to use. He can take it to any of the many locations he works at during the day and when his favorite radio station isn't playing his kind of music, he just listens to one of his favorite CDs.

The product works satisfactorily for our purpose of entertaining an elderly friend.

This boombox has exactly what I enjoy. A megabass which can be turned on or off and a USB port where I can not only play the music I want to hear but when I'm listening to the radio and hear a song I love, it can be recorded onto my flash drive. Sony is a quality product!

Purchased this radio to place in the garage. I stream audio through the rest of the house with Sonos, but like to listen to local radio when outside ( sports, etc ). It even has Bluetooth so I can stream from my phone if I want. Pleased with purchase.

The sound is a bit disappointing. I was expecting more from Sony. Overall okay for the office.

My girl friend uses are old Latino and Italian cd. I use it a lot as a Bluetooth. With a modest amount of money I was able to satisfy two necessity listen to the old cd and use my playlist on my cell with a better speaker

Have this on my lanai. The sound is awesome! Rich sound without having to blast it out. Now I can sit listening to my tunes in sunny Florida. Would recommend these speakers highly.

This was purchased as a gift for someone that loves using CDs for music and radio. I also like that it does have bluetooth, although an older version of it, as well as USB. It is a little pricey but hope they will get their use out if it.

It has a compact design and surprisingly good sound quality. Nice to have something to play old CDs. Sony does not disappoint. Price was okay, but worth it for Sony.

Even though the item was released three years ago, it is still a relevant product, as it is one of the only small boom boxes that have Bluetooth connectivity. I bought this boom box to replace an older JVC model that never sounded as good as this one. I recommend!

I purchased this for a birthday present for my husband to use in "his shed". Radio works great! Even picks up his favorite radio station which is a hit or miss prospect because it is a distance away which can be a problem in the Pacific Northwest because of the "little" mountains around here.

I mainly listen to book cds on this boombox. The sound is terrific and it plays cds my bose won't play as a lot of library cds are not in great shape. I would recommend this sony boombox to anyone who likes quality sound

This a must have device. It can play Cd's and record them onto a flash drive As an mp3 file. You can also play it back on the usb port. It also has bluetooth capabilities for amplifying music from all devices that utilize bluetooth.

Windows 10 in our new HP Envy 360 is extremely difficult to navigate and use, Janet has said it over & over that she is sure the code & software is really lousy and she is not interested in using it only occasionally for Word and printing. I (Leo) have noticed that the system is just way different to navigate and still I am just beginning to get some of the functionality process down. Both of us can not figure out if it is HP or MS Windows that are causing weird happenings. Maybe HP & Windows should go through the operational systems & try and figure out what the Ef is going on! And as far as the recommendation block below goes We would not SAY YES or SAY NO This laptop is definitely faster in all ways. We are undecided until we either have a better grasp of how to use the system and time & gravity move forward. The true test is time!!!!!!!!!

My new SUV did not come with a CD player. I have a large amount of Books on CD that I listen to when I travel for my work. I bought this unit to listen to those CD's . So far I'm very Happy with my purchase

This is a terrific value for the player. Good size. I only wish the buttons stood out more. It’s difficult to see at night unless you turn on a light.

This is one hot little unit value ..quality.. versatility ..clarity of sound and easy to use..it wont blast the walls down but most of of the time who wants to..Dj Al Soleil

Unobtrusive? Check. Connects to just about anything? Check. Buttons easy to read and use? Check. Great sound? Not so much. It's a little box with a little sound (even with mega bass), but at this price point and with all the other features it's okay for an hour or two in the kitchen which is basically what I bought it for. Personal annoyance is an eternal display of "standby" when it's supposedly powered off so I feel compelled to shut it down at the power strip.
