The radio is solid. It is loud, but obviously lacks in the bass department due to the small size. Cd player plays well, bluetooth is well, and overall does what it should do. You can put batteries in it, I haven't tried it out since its always plugged in for my use case. The price is a bit on the high end, maybe should be around 60-70 bucks, but it's becoming a niche item so understandable. Might consider one of sony's bluetooth speakers that has a cd slot available, for a bit more, you'll get a lot more.

This was a great deal I got it on sale. The only problem i have with it is it doesn't have the greatest bass. Other than that, it's perfect for everything. Radio, CD, bluetooth, and aux cable input. I use it to listen to my record player by connecting the aux cable and it's good quality.

I bought this as a gift but I checked to make sure everything worked first and it had very good sound quality for such a small thing and the perk of a CD player. The friend it was for needed one for work and cell phones die to fast.

I like the small size and the features. Having blue tooth along with CD player and radio is great! Sound quality is good and radio reception is good too

This sony sounds good and offers great options if you want to use bluetooth for your digital music but at the same time have CD's that you want to hear every now and then. We use this outside by the pool and it works great, and even though it stays outside under cover, so far has held up great.

I purchased this because I wanted a smaller audio system for a shelf and didn't want to spend the amount that the luxury brands sell for. It's great for my needs with am/fm, cd, and bluetooth connectivity. I think the sound is just fine for casual listening and it fits nicely in a tight place. Good value.

If you are not in the market for a wireless blue tooth speaker and just want some yesteryear technology this will fit your needs. For the price it has good sound, plays disks..., and has a radio. My wife loves this in her kitchen while she does her thing. Just old school and fine!

I enjoy using this as I shoot hoops with my son in front of the garage, swim in the pool, or work around the house. I have not tried the usb thumb drive transfer thingy. I am happy with the sound and ease of use. If it had a remote it would have been perfect!

I know CD players are becoming "retro", but I use mine daily to teach fitness classes. I can plan exactly what songs I want in the order I want them, never have to worry about wifi going down, or connection problems between my phone and wireless speaker. This boombox has very good sound, with a nice bass boost for my higher-intensity classes. Some boomboxes are very tinny, but not this one. Can always trust Sony!

Very easy to use, the sound quality is outstanding for its size. The digital tuner is great, CD player is very quiet when searching for a track unlike the one we returned because it sucked. The Bluetooth and jump drive are great too.

This portable radio has all the popular features: wireless, CD, USB, FM, but most of all AM stations. With boys in local sports, it is a must to be able to hear the games live. I was surprised to see most other options do not have AM included

I had a big, bulky boombox that I was using before I bought this. The sound is clearer and crisper. The Bluetooth function is fantastic. I love being able to use my IPhone to play music rather than fumbling through my cds trying to find what I want to listen to.

I purchased this Boombox because I really needed a CD player for my kitchen. I have enjoyed the AM/FM radio as well as the CD player. The sound is great and I am enjoying it; especially this time of the year with the pretty holiday music.
